Heavenly Father –

As we come upon Columbus Day, October 9, may we remember our history, especially our Judeo-Christians roots.

In these dark days, Satan has reared his ugly head. Extremists, in the dark spirit of Orwell’s 1984, have torn down many monuments as well as attempted to rewrite history:

Yet, we affirm the Word of God to remember our history and who we are.

And we thank You, Lord, despite all the forces of hell, that Your Word never changes.

May we, as a people, return to the Word and the sure foundation of our salvation.

May we lift our prayers to Heaven during these dark and evil days:

* Light—to reveal all wickedness and deceit that has been concealed.

* Repentance—to turn to our Savior with all our heart.

* Anointing—to be filled with the Spirit and equipped for spiritual battle.

* Protection—to vindicate President Trump and deliver him from the corruption of the Deep State.

* Justice—to expose and right all wrongs against the innocent.

May we wait expectantly for the coming of our Lord.

And may we continue, without ceasing….:

Dear FATHER, we mourn the loss of the countless heroes lost
those years ago. These brave souls, men, women, dogs, etc.
Special prayers You show justice for Veteran Daniel Penny,
Veteran H Floyd (34 yo black man held in jail in Atlanta as an indicted defendant and unable to make bail/hire an attorney),
George Allan Kelly and those unfairly imprisoned abroad
and in D.C. Please show them Your Mercy. FATHER, the list
of those unfairly imprisoned grows longer each day. We pray our enemies cease this unfair act soon.

As always, we pray for the brave men and women who
sacrifice greatly to keep our borders safe and
the patriots who attempt
to save our country. We ask You Open Your Arms,
enfolding into the Kingdom of Heaven the many Maui
victims, you comfort their grieving loved ones.

I thank You for this circle of faithful, ask you fill all
with the spirit of kindness which they might show to all,
even those who hold so much animosity. Kindness equals
kindness. Please endow us all to exemplify the kindness and
enduring love You show us each day.
We value Your Wisdom in the presence of Donald Trump,

Works to set Veteran Floyd free. Kind souls donating money to set bond in bailing him out of prison. We pray Veteran Floyd will be able to hire his own defense council, and find a roof over his head soon. We’ve Faith You will see him thru to the better times, which he so desperately needs.

In addition, Father a Thank You for the Patriot Medical Profession Members. After having first hand dealings with these men and women over the years find that many, if not most are still of and with WTP rather than the elites who wish to run and ruin our lives. These individuals must walk a tightrope in truly being a doctor and treating patients or looking to lose their license to practice if they do not toe the line in obeying the rules and regulations of our current Marxist government and corrupt hotheads of the leaders in their profession in charge of licenses. We should walk in their shoes, an attempt to make the decision if we were them. Granted, there are a few bad apples to be
found; A Dr. Fauci type. However, we also find a good many, if not more of the dedicated, hard working such as Dr.McCulloh type. We pray you give them the strength to make the right decisions/choices. Our prayers go up for these torn men and women.

Father, the words typed may be incoherent to some, but in Your Wisdom You Know why my attempt to put into words our gratude and Thanksgiving is so overwhelimg. You might say, Words fail me. Thank You for all things, both great and small.

COLUMBUS' 4TH & LAST JOURNEY...

Columbus' biographer, Samuel Eliot Morrison described Admiral Columbus:

"It was the Admiral who exorcised the waterspout. From his Bible he read of that famous tempest off Capernaum, concluding, 'Fear not, it is I!' Then clasping the Bible in his left hand, with drawn sword he traced a cross in the sky and a circle around his whole fleet."

Columbus explored the coasts of Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. He briefly landed in Panama, but was too ill and too suspicious of the natives to cross the 50 mile-wide isthmus on foot to the Pacific side, where he could have seen the real route to India and China.

As it was, they were attacked by Indians, and barely made it out of a shallow Belen River at low tide with 3 of his 4 ships. Another ship was lost in a storm off Cuba. With his last two ships worm-eaten and taking on water, he beached them on the Island of Jamaica at St. Anne's Bay, on June 25, 1503, marooned for the next year.

Natives at first accommodated them, but the situation deteriorated when some sailors began an unruly mutiny. Fearing an attack, Columbus had to act fast. An accomplished explorer, Columbus had been diligent to keep track of the position of the moon and stars in the night sky of the Western Hemisphere, something that had never been observed before.

Using astronomic tables made by Rabbi Abraham Zacuto of Spain, Columbus summoned the chiefs to his marooned ships on the specific night of February 29, 1504. When he correctly predicted a lunar eclipse, the natives became afraid and convinced Columbus had divine favor. They abandoned their plans of attack and continued to provide for them.

Finally, Columbus' captain, Diego Méndez de Segura, purchased a canoe from the natives and set off with several of them from Jamaica toward Hispaniola (Haiti), crossing 450 miles of open sea. Arriving there, Méndez found Governor Ovando in the jungle, subduing the Taino Arawak natives. Ovando was not thrilled to hear that Columbus was still alive and waited months to send help. Being rescued at last, Columbus returned to Santo Domingo for a final visit, then to Spain, arriving on November 7, 1504. Three weeks later, his chief patron, Queen Isabella, died.

Columbus died a year and a half later at the age of 55. Though unsuccessful as a governor, Columbus was nevertheless one of the world's most accomplished sailors and explorers, and though he did not reach India or China, he did change history.

Back during his fourth and final voyage, when he was in Panama, trapped on the Belen River at low tide, he was incapacitated with physical pain. On July 7, 1503, not knowing if anyone would ever read it, he wrote his Lettera Rarissima: "The Indians were many and united and attacked ... I was outside very much alone, on this rude coast, with a high fever and very fatigued. There was no hope of escape. In this state, I climbed painfully to the highest part of the ship and cried out for help with a fearful voice ...

... At length, groaning with exhaustion, I fell asleep, and heard a compassionate voice saying, 'O fool, and slow to believe and serve thy God, the God of every man! ... From thy birth He hath ever held thee in special charge ... Of those barriers of the Ocean Sea, which were closed with such mighty chains, He hath given thee the keys ... Turn thou to Him and acknowledge thy faults; His mercy is infinite; thine old age shall not hinder thee from performing mighty deeds ... Whatever He promises He fulfills with interest; that is His way."
