My dad and seven uncles all came home. A couple purple hearts.

I can't imagine the thoughts of my grandparents with all their boys gone.

My Dad, and all of my uncles that served during WWII all came home safe and sound. One uncle was wounded at Guadalcanal, he showed me his Purple Heart
once. He lived to be 101.
