Not disagreeing with the point but it always kinda makes me wonder when men assume God is impatient as we are and that it must be right around the corner-as I believe was said before the year 1000 as well

Good point. No one truly understands the vast scale of God and the universe. A thousand years is nothing in that view.
The Earth existed for billions of years before Jesus. It might well continue for billions of more after him.
They will already be persecuting and eliminating Christians to a point that few will notice the numbers that will vanish.

As the missiles are all coming down, we will be going up.
The last thing people will be thinking about will be millions of other people missing. In the aftermath of whatever that event is, it will simply take them a while to discover that bodycounts don’t match up with missing records. By then, the “strong delusion” God speaks about for those who refused their calling will have set in.
It doesn't matter. Our job as Christians is to announce the gospel so that men will be saved. Once the ark door is shut, God's post-rapture judgement will ensue.

The rapture and the second coming could be the same event, in which case it would be too late for anyone headed to Hell to wonder what happened.

I believe that this refers directly to the “lie” or antichrist, not the rapture of the Church and the removal of restraint that the Holy Spirit now holds over the earth. Once all believers are gone, and the Holy Spirit no longer restrains lawlessness and sin, it will take an antichrist to even attempt to control a world full of Godless heathens and perverts.
As it pertains to what people left behind will believe, the freedom to exist without Godly restraints and influence will be a beautiful thing in the eyes of those whose hearts hate God and the things of God. Unfortunately for those few left behind that recognize what has really happened and turn to God, they will be hunted down and murdered for the most part. But they will be saved.
But I think that we often make a mistake, even now, in believing that other people are the basically the same as us and act on it. Those Godless God hating people left behind are NOTHING like believers. They did and will NOT think like us at all. Their chains will be loosed for them to truly think, imagine, believe, and act upon anything THEY want to...the God’s honest truth will NOT be any part of that.
They will perhaps spin it as a “good thing” and claim that those “radicals” who “dissapeared” didn’t really dissappear, but are hiding out somewhere, in a cult-like compound, p.otting to overthrow the one world government. They will declare that anyone found supporting the çmissing radical group” (ie anyone getting saved during the tribulation) will be tried for d guilty then executed “for the good of everyone”
I need Scriptural reference for this. Nowhere in Scripture that I've read says this at all.

Scripture clearly teaches that there is a literal Millennial Kingdom reign for 1000 years.
