Not disagreeing with the point but it always kinda makes me wonder when men assume God is impatient as we are and that it must be right around the corner-as I believe was said before the year 1000 as well

No one knows when, it would be right now or 20,000 years from now

Good point. No one truly understands the vast scale of God and the universe. A thousand years is nothing in that view.

The Earth existed for billions of years before Jesus. It might well continue for billions of more after him.
