Favorites are #3 and #4; the Ghiberti relief at $8; the 16th/17th c. Spanish wood sculpture at #29.
The panels at #7 and #24 are from the 15th c. Silver Altar of St. John, magnificent work by the silversmiths of Florence.

I think that in the Middle Ages petty theft was common but not the stealing of these kind of art works. Punishment was very harsh, either by public humiliation, flogging or mutilation. Maybe the thieves of those times did not have the “sophistication” of today’s thieves.
