In Eknes-Tucker v. Marshall, (MD AL, May 13, 2022), an Alabama federal district court issued an injunction pending trial of the portion of the Alabama Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act that restricts transgender minors from being treated with puberty blockers and hormone therapies. The court said in part:
Parent Plaintiffs have a fundamental right to direct the medical care of their children. This right includes the more specific right to treat their children with transitioning medications subject to medically accepted standards. The Act infringes on that right and, as such, is subject to strict scrutiny. At this stage of litigation, the Act falls short of that standard because it is not narrowly tailored to achieve a compelling government interest. Accordingly, Parent Plaintiffs are substantially likely to succeed on their Substantive Due Process claim,

It’s sick that these are medically accepted standards.
It’s child abuse to indulge delusions with hormones and surgery which do irreparable harm.
Does this include decisions about abortion?

I wonder what they mean by “medically accepted”. Hormone therapy for sex changes is NOT an FDA approved use of the medicine. I imagine the same is true for the puberty blockers.
Lord knows how much trouble some doctor would get for prescribing “horse medicine” to treat Covid though.

Two of my children have NCCAH, which manifests during puberty. Proper treatment of this condition would be to put them on puberty blockers to mitigate the effects of this incurable genetic disorder.
What they have ia rare and should not be dispensed like candy.

Two of my children have Non-classic congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Look it up. There are 108 variants of this condition due to the complexity of the endocrine system. In my middle child, it caused hyperandrogenism and gender dysphonia. My child didn’t need hormones, her body was masculinizing naturally. Spent a fortune consulting with doctors here and abroad only to be told there was no way to stop it.
But if it helps you sleep at night to think that I burned through tens of thousands of dollars and years of hell trying to save my child, the one I carried, gave birth to, would kill and die for, so that I could molest them, then have at it.
