I want to say something about deception.
We talk about the concept of end times "birth pangs," how things that will be grow in frequency and intensity. Amidst the earthquakes and wars and famine is the trickiest sign of all: deception.
It's a sign you can see, but also may not realize you're a part of.
In Matthew 24 and 25, we read about the tribulation. But in 24:4, we see Jesus telling his disciples not to be deceived. Over and over, we are reminded in the Bible to be careful about deception.
It's easy enough to tally up the earthquakes, wars and bombings, pestilence, the volcanic eruptions, the near-miss asteroids, the rising push for digital currency, the growing globalism, WEF—but you can't do the same with deception.
Deception catches all of us, even the most astute and aware, off guard. At some point, in some way, to some degree, it takes our breath away.
Fallen leaders. Self-proclaimed prophets whose predictions don't come true but still have a public following. Whistleblowers who reveal every single human truly is fallen, as our heroes fall.
The words about such things are plainly written in the Bible, but we seem to think it doesn't quite apply in our modern situation.
Deception cannot be detected by common sense. It can't be detected by your "gut feeling." It can't be detected by tradition, or what's worked in the past. It can't be detected by following someone you trust. It can't be detected by being part of some "secret knowledge cult" that is not limited to Illuminati or Masons, but now includes popular liberal and conservative podcasters and content producers on the internet. It can't be detected by the U.S. Constitution. It can't be detected by who identifies as what, and how that compares to you.

The birth pangs are not what needs to be shortened for the survival of mankind.
Deception can be detected by the faithful by means of their Sensus Fidei.
Sensus Fidei is a fruit of the gift of Faith.
The sheep know the voice of their shepherd (the Truth). They will instinctively flee the contrary voice of any other (the Father of Lies).
Sheep may not be very smart, but they know certain things very well. In certain circumstances they do not stand in need of an expert to tell them what to do or what not to do.

Yeah, and what Jesus? The real Can-Do man in the flesh, or the man-god mystical woo-woo character that only heretics "deny"? Them's fightin' words right there.

The added comma makes it look like deceivers are claiming to be Christ, and there are many who claim to be anointed. But these are claiming to come in *his* name, which when supplying the ellipsis inherent in the very context...

The teachers and lackeys of the Establishment union boss Messiah-usurper remind everyone what they *don't* have to do because it's not in the contract. Meanwhile, the productive have to worry about having their tires slashed for making the entitled union slackers look bad just by showing up with an individual work ethic. The free-minded types might even innocently point out inefficiency and question all of the dysfunction. Troublemakers.
Those with the union mentality want to know every word of the contract so they can zero in on what they *don't* have to do, and how they can boss others into compliance. And like the HOA Nazis out measuring lawns (motivated by their corrupt definition of due diligence and having a need for power), they've got their eyes and ears always on alert for recalcitrant wrongdoers. Same MO as the self-righteous religious scholars who tailed Jesus.
He didn't match the settled doctrines. They were dogmatically, consensus-certified certain that he was making claims that he wasn't making. Worse yet, he was giving people ideas not favorable to the status quo. The system exists to perpetuate the system. Those standing in opposition to dysfunction and tyranny must be ejected by any means necessary. They'd destroy the business model.
Saying "Your sins are forgiven, so you can go ahead and get on up now" would go over like the proverbial lead balloon to those who wish to collect disability, being content to remain paralyzed and chained to the floor.
There's a Booker T. Washington quote about that type of attitude.
To those who were deceived into thinking that their situation was one of hopeless conformity and subjugation, they learn they can get up to stand and walk, and can therefore escape (run) out the gate that had been open all along.
Anyway, big difference between a massive master-slave bureaucracy and a small business operation.
In old times, discerning teachers recognized the difference between the term papers cobbled from encyclopedias, and the work produced by genuine students.
Then when those who submitted the former fail, they indignantly exclaim,
"But I did my research!"
Orl'y? So that's why it looks just like everybody else's, from all the usual sources, eh? Just more mass-produced junk, made in China by slave labor..

Like I've been saying, if the Messiah believed the settled doctrines, he's never recognize himself.
Yet an observant, sincere, free-minded man will always catch on, and reassess what needs to be reassessed.
There's the model right there, the ideal man to show the way up and out, to make the world a better place one thoughtful and caring person at a time, all at the same time.
But a comic book demigod superhero, swinging down to fix everyone else's messes all by himself is so much more appealing..
How's he supposed to get anything done if nobody wants him for a leader and teacher? Why should Jesus show up at all if he's expected to mow everybody's lawns?

Are you saying that Jesus was not God in human flesh? At the end there, where you reference a comic book super hero, it sounds like you don’t believe that Jesus is coming back to “fix” things.
Who do you believe Jesus is?

Birth pangs are describing 'time' not survival.. when a woman goes in to labor, a birth soon follows, days to hours or immediately... Those 'seven' years everyone hangs their hat upon was shortened by Christ, regardless of any so called 'peace', 'peace', 'peace', deal that gets signed.

But, things must happen as prophesied.
