I'm an Eagles fan and yes, Foles may not be the GOAT.

But his humble commentary and views on his lot in life are something else, especially given the state of culture and sports.

If you want to see something inspirational in this Christmas season, I encourage you watch his press conference.

Reminds me of Kurt Warner. Guy deserves another shot with a contender.

He was a real disappointment with the jaguars. Just like all the rest. Jags still suck but Foles is a pretty class guy.

who first rose to fame by leading the Philadelphia Eagles to an incredible win in Super Bowl LII

That simply isn't true. Foles displaced Michael Vick as a starter and in 2013 had one of the best seasons by a quarterback in NFL history. His 27 touchdown passes and only 2 interceptions, surpassed Tom Brady's 36/4 for the best TD-INT ratio in NFL history. His 119.0 passer rating was third in NFL history at the time, behind Aaron Rodgers' 122.5 rating in 2011 and Peyton Manning's 121.1 rating in 2004.

Foles, who said he plans to be a pastor once he’s done playing football

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

I’d bet he’s going to have a popular church.

I’m blessed to know Nick well. I’ve been to his former home in NJ and his current home in Orange County. Nick is as solid as they come. He’s thoughtful, caring, and treats everyone with respect. I will ALWAYS cheer for Nick Foles no matter where he is playing, and when he is done playing. He’s going to make an impact no matter where he lands.

For a guy who won a superbowl against Tom Brady and the Patriots, he was pretty much immediately relegated to 2nd and 3rd string by the Eagles, Jaguars and Bears.

Happiness is shallow and elusive; but joy is deep and steadfast-and cannot come from within ourselves.
Nick Foles is a winner on and off the football field, because he has joy.

Nick Foles played H.S. Football and won the Texas State Championship at Westlake H.S.

His commentary after the football game was sensational given the state of professional football.
