I challenge you to prove that Peter EVER went to Rome. We know Paul stood trial there twice. “Ignore the FACT that Peter went to Rome to challenge and replace the pagan disease that ruled the world back then with a New Covenant.”, you claim. Prove that claim.
This is why the church practically lies in ruins. Just throwing out traditions, teachings, doctrines of men that can NOT be substantiated by God’s word.
THAT is our final authority, not a church. Truth is hidden under piles of man’s false, fickle, feckless opinions. Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
That is obvious, for I searched the rest of your response for an actual interaction and rebuttal to what I said only to find non-sequitur assertions, as if i actually argued that the church was not necessary, and had not shown you before that SS materially provides for " synods and councils, ministerially to determine controversies of faith, and cases of conscience; to set down rules and directions for the better ordering of the public worship of God," (Westminster Confession XXXI) which you ignore, as is typical, as well as the argument that it is Rome as being the sure and supreme standard that is what is untenable, versus Scriptural authority.
And likewise ignoring the testimony that those who most strongly esteemed as the accurate and wholly inspired word of God, with its basic literal hermeneutic, have long testified to being far more conservative and unified in polled core beliefs and values (thus voting about 80% for Republican Presidential candidates) than Catholics overall, whom Rome manifestly considers to be members, you still resort to invoking the example of those who do not hold to Scripture as being the authority as an argument against doing so!
One thing though about your vain parroted argumentation is that it is an argument against being a Catholic. Your silence would be wise.
