The solution is to open these threads under the caucus protection that the religion moderator gives.
Go to the Religion Moderator's home page where "caucus" thread qualifications are defined. You will then understand WHY a thread like this won't hold that designation.
If you don't wish to read other's arguments against a topic's point, simply skip it. Why shouldn't those being maligned or misrepresented not have a chance to voice their viewpoint and join in the discussion?

The Caucus “protection” is fine if you are discussing a topic within and specific to the group alone.
This article is not - it addresses various Christian beliefs. And it SHOULD be kept open to hear all sides.
