Instead of excerpting, look at the gospel of John as a whole

3:20 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed. 21 But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.
John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him.
John 6:27 Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him the Father, God, has set his seal.”
John 6:35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.
John 6:54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.

That's just John.

John is clear that for eternal life you need to

believe in the Son
work for food that endures
Eat of Christ's flesh's and drink His blood

Matthew is also very clear with

Matthew 3:2 [and] saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”
Matthew 3:8 Produce good fruit as evidence of your repentance.
Matthew 9:22 Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, “Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.”
Matthew 10:22 You will be hated by all because of my name, but whoever endures to the end will be saved.
Matthew 24:13 But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
Matthew 19:29 And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive a hundred times more, and will inherit eternal life.
Matthew 25:46 And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Matthew is

Repent
believe
persevere to the end
Give up for the Lord

And Mark is Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Jesus through all this tells us clearly that to be saved we must

Repent

Believe

be Baptized

Eat of his Body and drink of His bloody

work for food that endures

Endure to the end

Why not follow your own advice instead of EXCERPTING these verses: John 3:20, John 3:36 , John 6:27, John 6:35, John 6:54

Lookie at what you've left out from 'John as a whole'...

Jesus is asked a specific question and Jesus gives a specific answer:

John 6:25-40

²⁵When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?”

²⁶Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. ²⁷Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”

²⁸Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

²⁹Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

³⁰So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? ³¹Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’^[c]”

³²Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. ³³For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

³⁴“Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”

³⁵Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. If the above is NOT sufficient for a soul to make it to heaven; then shame on Jesus for leaving it up to the religious organization based in Rome to fill in the blanks!
