E Michael Jones has some bad new for Catholic Neo-Cons, like the Acton Institute People: The Rockefellers tried to convince Pope Paul VI to soft pedal Humanae Vitae, when that happened, the Church actively turned to the Soviet Block—Ostpolitik has a secret history verboten in the US. The Evil Empire today, pedaler of porn & mandatory abortion to the world, is the CIA/ Rockefeller Axis, now passed on to BlackRock, 2,100 oligarch billionaires and worldwide Technocracy.

It’s why it looks like Romans 1:18-32 is going on everywhere.

In the RCC too, BTW.

There’s always a remnant though.

This article seems less plausible now than it may have 10 years ago. The problem with the author’s hypothesis is that Bergoglio and his minions are doing their darnedest to take a wrecking ball to the Catholic Church and the Catholic faith. Unless the Church’s descent into chaos and apostasy is halted and reversed, I can’t see how it is sustainable as a worthy destination for American conservatives.

“Is the Pope Catholic?”

The question is:

Is the Pope Christian?

Yes. Pretty incredible. (and yes very cool name ;D) One of my best reads from the undergrad years and there were many. But Alexis’s words still very much ring true over and over again today.

Not a chance now that the ImPopester has turned the Catholic church communist.

1.A. The practical Catholicism of Alexis de Tocqueville’s day was more fundamentalist, orthodox Catholicism than found in America and most of the west today, leaving the majority of western Catholicism to have “converted” politically to Liberal/Progressive/Leftism and AWAY from political Conservatism.

1.B. Alexis de Tocqueville view was contextual with regard to Catholicism and not a context that fits today; leaving it nearly impossible in today’s context to see mass “conversion” of Conservatives to Catholicism.

2. The anti-abortion “right to Life” gets more support among practicing evangelicals (67%) than practicing Roman Catholics (51%) given Catholicism zero dominant attraction to Conservatives on that issue, and no matter a string of other foraml, official Catholic views, so many other positions from the Catholic leadership are Liberal or Left compared to other actual Conservative Christians.

3. Conclusion: I don’t buy the authors position, at all.

The Catholic Church is now more rainbow than the Castro District. Absolutely fabulous.

With this pope, the church has abandoned the church, not that it’s any of my concern, just observing.

Catholicism would be a viable choice except for all the child molesting fag priests and bishops.

If the Catholic Church did not exist, no one would have ever heard the Name of Jesus Christ by the year 500, if not sooner.

Well the Catholic Church was the only “Christian” church until the schism and reformation in 1521 by Martin Luther. Prior to that, the Christian church was not even called Catholic.

I don’t think he is. Until he goes I remain Protestant. For believing Catholics and Protestants there is not a huge difference. It’s really Judaism with a New Testament, but not anything like Islam.

It is the religion of the DC government. 7 of the 9 Supremes.
It is a historical precedent that the Roman Church and governments often find common cause. Typically that results in oppression rather than liberty.

Pope Benedict XVI

Isn't he just a priest now? He is no longer a bishop?

Yep! “Conservatism” and America is well on it’s way towards an Apostate conversion to Catholicism.
