He is unable to learn about the well documented sermons from ECFs prior to the Constantine takeover of the Body of Christ Believers, or the few sermons which came after that takeover that defied the Augustinian allegorizing of the Bible after the Alexandrian School of Bible translation. I am not so sure about that mom. They had lots of scientific and technological advances in the days of Noah. There were lots of monstrosities in those days too. The Nephilim roamed the earth in those days. They were true, walking abominations, who I believe were eating people. There was also genetic engineering going on. I believe the ante diluvian world was FAR FAR more evil than most of us think. It was EVIL enough, that God had to wipe out the Nephilim and the monstrosities they engineered, by the Flood. I believe the ante diluvian world, was by far, the most horrible period in human history. I do believe, however, that the tribulation period, will probably be worse, than the ante diluvian world.

Darby read Paul, John, and Daniel too. He also listened to Macdonald and Irving. And, I’m sure he read Ribera (the author of Jesuit Futurism). Then he came up with what is the farthest thing from the truth, the pre trib rapture theory, which is believed by the majority of Christians. Fables.
A cult is a limited time, esoteric group. Your pre tribulation rapture philosophy which is of the 19th century just like the Adventist philosophy, fits the bill of a cult.

Who will man the water pumps and home gas distribution centers?

Good stuff, Mark. I was watching videos about the pyramids once. I was fascinated by them but never felt comfortable about them. People get excited about them but I’m not too sure that most people got all “whoop-whoopty-do” about them at time. Well, I ran into a Chuck Missler snippet in which he stated that when he visited the pyramids that he got physically sick. I kind of understood.
Many years later I ran into one of the best teachings Bro. Chuck ever did. I think it’s titled, “10 Prehistoric Monuments” and what he related regarding the pyramids blew me away. He ended it all with saying to be very careful of too much curiosity in such things because they could very well be satanic in nature. 10 Prehistoric Monuments is audio only, no video. If you ever come across it, listen to it. And “The Fulcrum of the Entire Universe” is probably his best ever. It’s also entirely audio.

I don’t know how many times this lie of the rapture doctrine began with Darby has been clear-as-day shown to be a lie. I would say “shown to be false” but it’s been shown to be a lie so many times over and over again to the same people who keep lying about it. They’re not committing a mistake to keep posting the false idea, but rather a lie since they’ve been corrected so many times.
(Is lying breaking a commandment?)

Chuck Missler was great. Good videos on the Nephilim. Did they build the pyramids and other things, which could not be built today? I don’t know, but it’s interesting.
