No, you boiled them, not God. Boiled them to meaningless platitudes which could mean anything. Jesus was answering their question. Which laws because they had several confusing sometimes contradictory laws. There was the Law of Moses (ceremonial laws), man made laws the priests elaborated on (made up) and there was the universal law for all of mankind, The Ten Commandments. This was the Law Jesus referred to. The first part of which describes mans obligation to God (including Sabbath observance) and the second part of mans obligation to man.
