So many favorite pictures but the last one is absolutely nightmarish! Interesting that the cherubim have each four faces and that the ox, the eagle, the lion, the man, are also the attributes of the four Evangelists. A colorful representation of the seraphim in Ezekiel's vision from the Bible of Nicolas de Lyre (1402)
