In this episode, we will meet a 25 year old grad student, who, as a faithful evangelical, felt Catholicism was dead. But during his theological scripture studies, his preconceived biases were challenged, and in search for Truth, studied his way into the Catholic faith!
Like everybody else in this series, today’s guests came home to the Church, with the help of Catholics Come Home and responding to the call of the Holy Spirit.

Hopefully Tyler comes to realize that the Roman Catholic church isn’t “home” but a religion that has perverted the true gospel of the grace of God while asserting herself as THE church Jesus established. I wonder how Tyler will respond when the priest tells him he cannot be assured of his salvation - which was promised by Jesus - and if he does so he’s committing the “sin of presumption”?
Take it from a former Roman Catholic, Tyler, you were closer to the truth as an Evangelical. Salvation is the gift of God and not by your works lest any should boast.
The RCC is the Whore of Babylon written about in Revelation 18. God warns any of His believers to “come out of her” or face the consequences like an unbeliever. The History of the RCC is well known and out in the open. If you read your Bible it should jump off the pages that they are a man made religion. Better to look to your Jewish roots!
People in the US who call their self Christian are staring down the barrel of a possible Biden Presidency due to an obviously stolen election but damn the Catholic Church for being in the same position.
If the satanic forces abroad in the world can steal an entire nation’s government how is it that people can’t understand that the same forces spent decades infiltrating and corrupting the leadership of the Catholic Church?
Is the Constitution any less the real doctrine & dogma of the United States due to satanic maneuvers to take over the country? Only if the people of the US are spineless and fail to do whatever it takes to make sure those who seek to overthrow it fail.
The same is true of the Catholic Church, the guiding doctrine & dogma are still true and solid even though they’re under attack by the same sort of “deep State” that is seeking to destroy the US.

Thorns grow up and choke the growing seed which is what leads to so many “former Catholics”.
Such folks are especially funny when they talk about Scripture after first throwing out a large section of the Old Testament and following up with basing what they accept as Scripture on the Masoretic Text rather than the older versions that do not have the major alterations Jewish rabbis made to the Masoretic.

Ebenezer Baptist Church, which appointed him as their pastor, has long been known as one of the most famous “Evangelical Christian” churches in Georgia, if not the whole country. Says so right on their website. Take it up with them.
The Catholics in my neighborhood had Biden signs in their yards. You vote for darkness and then you lament the power the darkness has over you.

I don’t understand your anger. Did the Lord say to St. Peter that he holds the keys to the kingdom? On Holy Thursday, did the Lord not give his people the gift of the Eucharist and everlasting life?
It seems to me that the protestants left the Catholic church when Luther posted his thesis on a tree/door.
Now people make up any church they want. Anything goes or not.
The Orthodox Church. Look into them. They also believe in the Eucharist. (this I believe is why you are angry, your soul is thursting for the Bread of Life)
one hell of a lot of “Evangelical Christians” like the Bush family came out in support of Biden as well as those who pretend to be Catholic because it’s convenient to claim they’re Catholic.
Oddly enough, all the anti-Catholic folks don’t care about their fellow non-Catholics voting for darkness in spite of the fact that one percentage point of the Catholic population voting for Biden is 1/7 of a percentage point of the non-Catholic population voting for Biden.
Trash Catholics & Catholicism to your heart’s content but it doesn’t change the fact that non-Catholics have a Pharisee edited subset of the Bible they pretend is the actual Word of God nor does it alter that Scripture clearly teaches even though “Evangelicals” & other non-Catholics claim they believe Scripture but ignore or twist whatever is inconvenient for their personal interpretation of Scripture.

Except for many of us, there were no thorns and we weren't choked, because we received the TRUE gospel with joy and we remain in Christ bearing fruit. Let me explain it for you...The "seed" is the word of God, Jesus said. When anyone hears the message of the kingdom but does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path - no faith. The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he remains for only a season. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away...a surface-only faith, not of the heart. In order for the seed to not take root, the one who hears the word allows the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful - reminds me of some noteworthy political Catholics. But the seed sown on good soil is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and produces a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold. I wonder how many current Catholics stay in the field as weeds and thorns mixed in with the wheat thinking that by doing so they will slip in and "make the cut"? Can't fool God....He alone sees the heart.
It's sad how many people really are brainwashed into believing they must make themselves worthy of eternal life. That they must merit and earn heaven by what they do for God rather than accepting what God has done for them. They don't "get" what grace really means. I praise the Lord every single day for opening my eyes to the truth of the grace of God that brings salvation to everyone that believes. I rest in the assurance He has promised that I can know I have eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. It is this hope that motivates me to live my life to bring Him glory and share the good news with those who He brings into my life. It is a wonderful thing to KNOW you have everlasting life and that nothing can snatch you from God's hands.
As for that broken record re the 7 Apocryphal books (hardly a "large" section), we have debated that for years and you have never responded to my many challenges. Whenever you are ready to do that let me know. It shouldn't cause you any fear or trembling.
After having been born and raised Catholic, I left the Catholic church when I actually picked up the Catholic Bible and read it.
