Stella is 17 and is in Children's Hospital in Seattle with a very rare non-hopkins triple hit lymphoblastic lymphoma. She has a brother Sam who is 16.
Her parents Bryan & Jody have been mostly living at the hospital for the past two months. The doctors tried chemo at first with no sucess and now Stell is in a Car T cell therapy clinical trial. The Oncologist does not think now that she will go into remission & may not leave the hospital.
Thank You for all of Your kindness and please hear our prayers.
Prayers are up
About 10 days ago the encologist told the family that Stella would likely never leave the hospital again.
After trying a new chemo last week that is not approved for her type of cancer, Stella felt well enough today to go home for a few days.
Due to covid, today is the first day in months that the family has been all together!
Prayers to Yahweh sent.
Tonight's report from Stella's dad:
"We went out on a limb and tried a chemo drug that was not approved by FDA for her type of disease and also not covered by our health insurance. It seems to be making a huge difference. We are not in complete remission but looks to be headed that way. Seems almost to good to be true as it was only a few weeks ago that our oncologist said she may only have a few weeks to live. If we can make it to remission, we will push forward with an urgent bone marrow transplant. Whatever the case, we are staying in the positive lane with foot to the floor! Thank you so much for the prayers. All of our love."
"Stella's disease has come back rather aggressively. The doctors are not sure what they can do at this point but, as always, we are committed to staying positive. We were able to come home to celebrate Christmas today and that will be nice. All our love, Bryan"
