yes, he found it - as
1. holding to the teachings of Jesus Christ as passed through the Apostles
2. with the true and fullness of relationship with Jesus Christ that is only there in orthodoxy and not in the half-measured groups
3. does not deny God's love as the Calvinists do, nor God's justice as the unitarians do
4. historically shows the presence of God's grace for 2000 years
to leave a non-Christian aspect like Calvinism for orthodoxy is the only way forward for a Christian
His fatal error as with all such converts is that he did not find that by holding the the only wholly inspired substantive authoritative record of what the NT church believed (which is Scripture, in particular Acts through Revelation, which best shows how the NT church understood the gospels) as his supreme standard.
3. does not deny God's love as the Calvinists do, nor God's justice as the unitarians do
You can argue with the former on that, with the latter is superfluous here.
4. historically shows the presence of God's grace for 2000 years
Historically it shows the increasing accretions of traditions of men and sinning against grace.
