The CINO president of a so-called Catholic University took offense at Mr. Holt calling Dementia Joe a CINO. Coach’s comment appears to have hit too close to home.

There is a good side to being associated with a faithless piece of crap like “Father” Jenkins: you can get a few truthful ideas into a rag like the Indy Star. Good for Lou Holtz!

Speaking as a huge fan, many family members who have been accepted and attended, actually have a building with my family name on it there, Notre Dame is lost...

I'm sure that every carpetbagger during Reconstruction began their pitch exactly the same way.

Breaking news: Francis’ Vatican issued a statement saying “The Life Issue” should not be used as a political issue/weapon. No surprise coming from the Francis Vatican.

Yes, OK, how terrible if we question the Catholic Faith of someone who advocates killing babies up until the day they are ready to be delivered. Sure, lots of faithful Catholics believe in killing babies.

If it walks like an atheist, and if it talks like an atheist...it's probably an atheist.

Jenkins = Far Left Wing Lunatic who destroyed any sign of the Catholic faith at Norte Shame.

Lou Holtz did more for Norte Dame in one year than Jackass Jenkins will do in a lifetime.

Shortly after Holtz’s speech, I posted “how long before Notre Dame removes his statue?”. I bet it won’t be long.

So sad

It is, despite it all I still try to get there every other year during football season, pay my respects at The Grotto and wear their gear proudly (and I am not even an alum) hoping, praying things will change.

Jenkins is a vile man and not an example of what a Catholic priest should be. He prosecuted 83 persons for praying on the grounds of his formerly Catholic school. They were praying in pro of Jenkins giving abortion hero Obama an honorary KD. Over three passed before He dropped charges.

We Must Never Question Another’s Faith

Why not? The Francis does it all the time. Four years ago on Donald Trump:

"A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not the gospel," the Pope told journalists who asked his opinion on Trump's proposals to halt illegal immigration.

Father Jenkins should be excommunicated for allowing Obama to get a degree there.  But fat chance of that when the Marxist Pope is in power.

I graduated from ND in '74.  It was an all-male university of 5,000 at the time.  Unfortunately, too many of the profs in the liberal arts department were second and third grade.

However, there were a few great professors.  One of them was Robert Leader, professor of Art History.  He was definitely a person who lived up to his last name.  In fact, I'd forgotten his last name until just a moment ago when I was going to write about him being a real "leader" -- and then my memory flashed back :-)

He'd traveled the world studying art and his lecture class was mostly a slide show where he'd show the difference between the architectural styles of great European cathedrals.

In fact, he once admitted that the only value of the art history he taught is when you visit the great cathedrals, you can impress your girlfriend by casually mentioning that the church was built in the Rococo style.

The most valuable thing he taught was what it was to be a Christian gentleman.  The influence of his character and the many interesting side tracks in his lectures gave the guy an aura on campus as a great prof.

One time there was a controversy on campus over Vietnam (I guess), and apparently a group of students in the middle of the night threw cans of red paint over many of the bronze religious statues across campus.  It was very ugly and shocking scene to see as we walked to class.

Well, Professor Leader was the only professor who even mentioned this disgrace and destruction of statues.  He devoted his entire lecture that day to sinking into thick college student skulls the message they needed to hear about reverence and civilization.

And just now, having found his beautifully-written obituary, did I first learn that as a 20-year old Marine Corps corporal, Professor Leader was one of the men on the patrol that took Mount Suribachi on Iwo Jima.

Rest in Peace, Professor Leader, the country is good hands once again.  Semper Fi.

Yea and I hear that the “Coach K” is showing his non military ‘leftist’ Dukeness saying we ready didn’t ever solve racists issues back in the 70, 80 and 90’s! I say BS! We were much further along and had much better relations until asswipe BO Barry showed up in 2008 - 2016 and then started his coup and exile governing - that’s where and when all this heat started! He needs to be in prison for causing an insurrection! K should keep his trap shut! Holt envy on his part!
