Sadly, I think many in the ministry trust that God will somehow make up for the attention and energy they gave to others instead of their children.
In my opinion, God places the mission field that should be your first priority in your home. Perhaps its hard for men to see that.

Not so fast. I was just at Liberty before the lockdown. Jerry Jr.’s background is in real estate, not theology. He has not only transformed Liberty from a small college to a sprawling campus with all new (paid for) buildings and the nation’s largest on-line program.
Again, this was BEFORE the China Virus forced online education.
So it’s not true that Jerry Sr. built it all. Jr. did an incredible job, no matter what was going on behind bedroom doors.

It amazes me it never enters their minds..Hey,I could get blackmailed for this..Maybe I should stop...
What amazes me is how many people were buying what Falwell Jr has been selling and thought he was innocent.
From the time the pool boy stuff became public, and it came out that Jr. was investing money in a gay hostel, most of us older/more cynical folks assumed that somebody was cheating on somebody. When that photo came out a few weeks ago, it was like "yep, Falwell is exactly what we thought."

Kind of reminds me of David and Bathsheba. There are always consequences to follow. Problems followed David for the rest of his life. Very sad. Falwell will either fall away or his testimony will be forever hindered. It should serve as a reminder to all of us how we can all fail.

People should read the whole article and not just the excerpts. It sounds like the “pool boy” saw a good opportunity to score some serious money through blackmail and found a willing "journalist" who relished scoring a story that might throw shade on Trump. It's not my business to decide who is telling the truth or who is lying, but I lean towards NOT accepting everything a gigolo claims when even his own family questions his ambition, mental stability and motives.

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
And thus are Christians. They are washed, sanctified, and justified and no longer identified by their sin, but by their position in Christ.
People are saved in the midst of their to begin with. Their sin is not going to keep them from getting saved and not going to keep them from staying saved.
So the claim that sin sends a Christian to hell is a false claim.
If someone is a Christian, they are not going to hell even if and when they sin.
A person who is going to hell is not and never has been a Christian.

No, those verses do not say that those who do those sins will not inherit the kingdom of God.
It says the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.
The unrighteous are those not saved, those who are not born again believers.

It is an amazing campus. All the buildings are new. The cafeteria is a wonder. There are about 10 specialty restaurants in there; a student pays for ONE meal ticket, but can eat what he wants from any/all of the restaurants.
Their online program is comprehensive (110,000 online students).
Did you know they have the highest % of MILITARY OFFICERS in college of any college save West Point or Annapolis? Because of the location issues, most of the officers go to Liberty for their advanced degrees because they can’t be physically on a campus.
