Since we are speculating...then after this this guy finds Jesus and Jesus gives mercy and understanding and saves him. This guy then gives Jesus the technology to time travel back to 2020 present day, hilarity ensues.

I remember reading a SI-FI story, about fifty years ago, of a man who used a time travel machine to go back in time to SAVE Jesus from the Cross.
Michael Moorcock's "Behold the Man", possibly. The time is about right.

Snediker? LOL! Wonder if he would be ok with someone from 2000 years ago coming forward in time to off Timothy Snediker to prevent him from proliferating?

If they had the ability to time travel, I can picture some of the naughty scoundrels here on FR traveling all the way back to Solomon's time, to try to pick up a few tips and pointers from him. (He was said to have had 700 wives, and 300 concubines, so he must have had "a way with women", so to speak.)
He must have also had some way to keep an accurate count of all of those 700 wives and 300 concubines like that, and, I have to say, it would have been simply terrible if he had used number cards for them to wear for that purpose, like the number cards the women in this picture are wearing! And, beyond that, how on earth did he ever keep track of which ones were wives, and which ones were concubines? That remains a baffling mystery (at least to me). (They probably didn't have these kinds of mask hats on them back then in Solomon's day, though, but I think the women in this picture wearing these mask hats would certainly fit right into the COVID-19 scene today.)

I guess he is aware that if he was actually successful that neither him, nor anyone that he actually cared about would ever have existed? Paradox.

Good luck with “going back in time.” Foolishness. It is done.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
- Rev 21:6-8
If he fails to repent, this reprobate will suffer eternal torment in the lake of fire. That will disabuse him of his foolish notion about time travel.

Looks like someone read Dostoyevskys The Grand Inquisitor and missed the point entirely. Perhaps he didnt read far enough to see Ivans ultimate fate.
