Be convinced with these 4 biblical truths: 1. Each of us has sinned; 2. God is just, requiring a punishment for sin; 3. But out of love God sent His Son, Jesus Christ who by dying on the cross, provided forgiveness of sins in taking mans deserved punishment; 4. Therefore, by faith alone in Christs sacrifice for our sins and belief in His resurrection, man can gain eternal life. I suppose it depends what version you are reading from:
New Living Translation
Moses remained there on the mountain with the LORD forty days and forty nights. In all that time he ate no bread and drank no water. And the LORD wrote the terms of the covenantthe Ten Commandmentson the stone tablets.
He maybe a non practicing Catholic, but with the Sacraments and repentance can always seek forgiveness and return.
Then stop sinning, too many have not paid attention.
So the TEN Commandments (written on stone) are in an ark in Heaven is what you're telling us?
No, that's not what I'm telling you. Like I said:
The REAL Mercy Seat is in heaven. The physical items contained within the Ark of the Covenant were meant for the Jews. I have no idea where they are now. Perhaps they will show up soon and will find their place within a newly built temple in Jerusalem. It all didn't magically fly up to heaven when Jesus ascended.
Baptism seals the person’s soul with a permanent spiritual mark or character identifying one as belonging to Christ.
Did you call my name bro? 😁 That would be me. I not only paid little attention in catechism class. I paid NO attention in catechism class. All I wanted to do, was flirt with the girls and go play hockey 🏒 Those were my priorities in life, flirting and playing hockey. 😁 When it came time to leave the Catholic Church, it was not difficult for me to do that, since I didnt feel close to the church anyway. I am comfortable with that choice. 👍 I feel like a heretic. 😁🤗👍🤣😀🤪😄🤑 but I am ok with that. 👍
Yes; I guess it does.
Neat picture; but it doesn’t seem to conform to the biblical description.
So; you're a OSAS Catholic; right?
He’s now at Ft. Riley, complaining about the heat and shootin’ them big guns on the tanks.
No, I do not follow false protestant beliefs.
Neat picture; but it doesnt seem to conform to the biblical description.
Why?
Naw, you're making that up...Water baptism is a 'heart' decision made by the baptized and doesn't do anything spiritually more than get you wet...
But aside from all your Church's anti-biblical dogmas and doctrines, we know from reading the bible that even water baptism is something reserved for a person who has professed a belief in Jesus Christ...
Most all Catholics get water dripped on them before their eyes are even opened which makes the baptism completely meaningless... And then your religion restricts a 'baby baptized' Catholic from getting re-baptized when that person gets to an age where he/she can intelligently believe in Jesus...
So, most all Catholics have never willfully been officially (water) baptized in accordance with the scriptures, likely including even you...Weird thing you guys got going on there...
This states there is a REAL ark with REAL manna, budded staff and stone tablets in Heaven. The one on earth was a copy of the real one in Heaven.
The REAL Mercy Seat is in heaven. The physical items contained within the Ark of the Covenant were meant for the Jews.
Then maybe the Mercy Seat is just meant for Jews according to that cherry picking thinking. You can't just pick and choose to suit your denominations beliefs. WHY wouldn't there be The perfect Law of God in Heaven? After all that is what tells us what sin is. God would not hide that information, would He?
My dad was stationed at Fort Riley, during the big one of 1941 to 1945. My son is training at Alamogordo, NM. Its hot there too.
I surely do bro. Do you live in a constant state of fear? Thinking that deep inside, you might fear, that after leading a life, striving against sin, and trying to lead a good life, hoping you were good enough to attain Heaven, and still end up in the lake of fire? Does this bother you? It would bother me, so I choose to believe OSAS. I have assurance of salvation. If you dont, then thats on you, but I will always be into OSAS. I sure beats walking around, being scared of hell fire and brimstone. 🔥
