This promise highlights the benefits of obtaining the most possible Graces at the hour of death via the Sacraments of Confession, Eucharist, and Extreme Unction (Anointing of the Sick). Being properly disposed while receiving these Sacraments near death ensures one's salvation (although perhaps with a detour through Purgatory) since a final repentance is possible. |
| 8. | Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the Light of God and the plenitude of His Graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the Merits of the Saints in Paradise. Our Lady highlights the great quantity of Graces obtain through praying the Rosary, which assist us during life and at the moment of death. Reminder: these promises mean that, by faithfully and devoutly praying the Rosary,
Our Lady will obtain for us the necessary Graces to obtain said promises.
It is still up to each individual soul to respond to those Graces in order to obtain salvation.

Unlike the other 9, nowhere is the command to keep the Sabbath NT church - as a church (Acts 13:44 is not)- described as meeting on the 7th day. and the only specific day it is described as meeting on is the first day, (Acts 20:7 & 1 Cor 16:1 - in the Greek) after (Pentecost and likely other meetings with disciples. For the Lord promised a New Covenant, which He distinctly states would be
"Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord," (Jeremiah 31:32; cf. Hebrews 8:9)
And which was instituted at the death of the testator, Christ, (Hebrews 9:16,17) and in what manner it was "not according" is revealed in the New Testament,
"Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation," (Hebrews 9:10) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. For the Lord promised a New Covenant,
Jer_31:33 “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day,” says the LORD. “I will put My instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.
Heb_8:10 But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel on that day, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their minds, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.
God defines it in the OT and NT.
Jer 31:34 And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the LORD.’
Now, Why will there be no need to teach nor be taught by neighbors and relatives?
The New Covenant is a personal relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. It explains why you MUST BE BORN AGAIN.
God destroyed the temple (institution) but man rebuilds it.

The law was not put into effect to save us. It was put into effect to lead us to Christ so that HE could save us. It’s intent was to show us that not one of us could meet God’s standard for sinless perfection.

Paul specifically says no more need for circumcision (maybe because it was originally for an OUTWARD SIGN that He would fulfill the promises he made to Abraham as applied to the Jews. But even in the OT he said the real test is circumcision of the heart, and that goes right along with the new covenant in Hebrews 8:
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

(Hebrews 9:10) That is why you never see the command to keep the Sabbath reiterated or the NT doing so.

That is a covenant between God and the earth (Genesis 9:13) which does not require man to do anything, but is part of the list of "everlasting" covenants.

No, that is not what Scripture states. The Sabbath represents the rest for believers thru Christ, and finds its full-filment in eternity, not a 7th day of rest.
