Prayers for you to our Heavenly Father, FRiend.
St Rocco, pray for her.
You can count on my Prayers!
Best wishes and prayers that your surgery and recovery go well. My husband had both knees replaced (a year apart) and is doing great. Physical therapy is very important. It will hurt like hell, but it is very important in your recovery. God Bless!
Guide the hand of the surgeons, o Lord, and give Thy servant Karen an easy recovery.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
And don’t skimp on the PT after the operation.
Prayers Up! :-)
(((PT afterward is very important!)))
My advice is to treat your rehab as a job and not as a vacation. Work hard to get them working again and you will do fine.
I have two friends who thought rehab was resting and lying on the couch watching TV. One of them had to be placed under anesthesia again and have the doctor wretch the knee so it worked again. The other fella still walks with a limp because he wasn't serious about his rehab and physical therapy either.
I work on our farm raising beef cattle. Both of my knees work great because I focused on the rehab immediately after the surgery.
Good luck.
Your recovery depends upon your cooperation with your therapy and your pain medicine. The government will only allow 3 days worth for acute pain, but I think they’ll allow 3 refills. It will constipate you like crazy. You can take miralax twice a day. It works. (It’s otc; generic is fine). Knee replacement is a tough post-op, but if you take your pain medicine about 45 minutes before your therapy, you can do it. They’ll also hook you up to a machine that will move your knee joint for you. It will keep your knee joint from freezing. It will probably be started at the hospital, unless you’re having outpatient surgery, which most people do. Many people say that the post-op pain is less than the pain they suffered before surgery. Depends on how bad the knee was before surgery.
Anyway, LORD give you strength, endurance, and an excellent outcome, in the mighty Name of Jesus.Amen.
Prayers you are up and gallavanting around FAST!
I am almost 4 weeks out from total knee replacement. Doing *great* thanks to family and friends support and prayers and taking PT seriously (dittoing all the other comments about PT). Ice and elevation also key. I will be thinking about you, for sure...update when you can.
Prayers for your well being and a successful surgery and PT regimen. You’ll feel a whole lot better in 6-8 weeks.
My prayer and best wishes for Salvation for God to ease the pain and provide a speedy recovery.
The Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come, before thee do I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
May God bless you with a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
Praters up for you, Salvation!
Praying for you. Blessings.
Prayers up, of course. Take it easy in recovery.
Thank you.
Along the years in operating a business I had many falls, but kneeling was OK until about two months ago Thanks for the laugh.
I had a friend with a faulty meniscus, and she was so glad she got it taken care of.
She was on crutches since the pain was so severe. What about you?
