I have two prayer requests.

My sister-in-law, CJ, went through breast cancer treatment in the early 2000’s. She has been fine since, but recently had a mammogram that precipitated a biopsy. There’s a scale thing and hers was almost at the top of the suspicious range. She has decided that she will have a mammogram. She is 60 and the sweetest person ever.

My dad have salivary gland cancer 4 years ago, and went through treatment for that - some really focused kind of radiation the name of which escapes me - out at MD Anderson in Houston. He called me this morning and said he has another lump in his mouth which is concerning, so he called his surgeon and is scheduled for a scan and a visit on the 14th. He did all of this and then called me - he’s 89. So I will take him - I’m praying for no more cancer as he cares for his wife who has late stage dementia. Also having caregiver complications so that could use a little prayer also.

Thanks - I will be out of pocket the rest of the day but thank you all in advance for praying.

Dear Freeper nclaurel has been deailng with lymphatic system cancer for some time. Very recently the doctor found a suspicious swelling at the base of the neck and wants to do a CT scan to rule out more lymphoma.

She would greatly appreciate prayers and I am posting this with her permission.

Dear Lord, please cast Your merciful glance at nclaurel, Your dear child, and protect her as You know best.

I have been treated for lymphoma for a year and recently we thought we had achieved remission. My surgeon is concerned about a swelling at the base of my neck and ordered a CT scan on the 13th. I would appreciate prayers that it is not related to lymphoma. Thank you all.

Thank you all for your prayers. My CT scan this morning showed no lymphoma just the typical changes one expects in the spine with age. I can’t tell you how much your prayers meant and achieved!

Please forgive me if I’m doing this incorrectly but I have an urgent prayer request.

A couple of weeks ago, a member of my church was diagnosed with covid. Sadly, he isn’t faring so well.

Last weekend, he was taken to the local ER for Pneumonia and sent home. Today, we learned that he took a turn for the worse and was rushed to the best hospital in Birmingham.

He is in his fifties and his first name is Jerry. He is such an incredibly nice, caring, quiet gentleman and everyone is very concerned about him. Our church family would really appreciate healing prayers for Jerry and prayers for strength for his family. We really appreciate it.

Also, I would appreciate prayers. Compared to Jerry’s situation, and the needs of the other requests on this thread, my request is almost embarrassingly trivial.

Friday night, I fell off my bed and ended up cracking one rib and bruised another rib. As I stated, my situation is extremely trivial, but I am in great pain.

Stella is 17 and is in Children's Hospital in Seattle with a very rare non-hopkins triple hit lymphoblastic lymphoma. She has a brother Sam who is 16.
Her parents Bryan & Jody have been mostly living at the hospital for the past two months. The doctors tried chemo at first with no sucess and now Stell is in a Car T cell therapy clinical trial. The Oncologist does not think now that she will go into remission & may not leave the hospital.

A few months ago, hubby(WH) injured his left hand close to the knuckle above his middle finger on the back of his hand. It started healing, then was injured again.
This time it grew into a fairly large lump. We visited a surgeon today. He is the second one that thinks it’s likely cancer-and he said to prepare for the worst-he will have to excise it and cut off the finger. He will get an MRI next week to see more details, and a biopsy will be scheduled.
We sure do hope it’s not cancer, and ask for prayers to help us through this. Thanks for all you do with the prayer requests.

I just heard from my oldest friend that her younger son who is around 40 has thyroid cancer and is scheduled for surgery November 3 to remove thyroid and some lymph nodes to see if it has spread. He has a beloved wife and two children. He is wonderful man and a devoted husband, father, son and brother.
I will be very grateful for any prayers for this man, his name beings with T. Family is very private so no names.
