Please forgive me if I’m doing this incorrectly but I have an urgent prayer request.
A couple of weeks ago, a member of my church was diagnosed with covid. Sadly, he isn’t faring so well.
Last weekend, he was taken to the local ER for Pneumonia and sent home. Today, we learned that he took a turn for the worse and was rushed to the best hospital in Birmingham.
He is in his fifties and his first name is Jerry. He is such an incredibly nice, caring, quiet gentleman and everyone is very concerned about him. Our church family would really appreciate healing prayers for Jerry and prayers for strength for his family. We really appreciate it.
Also, I would appreciate prayers. Compared to Jerry’s situation, and the needs of the other requests on this thread, my request is almost embarrassingly trivial.
Friday night, I fell off my bed and ended up cracking one rib and bruised another rib. As I stated, my situation is extremely trivial, but I am in great pain.

I know these times of strife can be so hectic
it’s difficult to impossible to focus our thoughts on
what we need to do next let alone how to ask for prayers.
God knows our hearts and comforts us in our grief.
Think of Prayer like a muscle and the more we use it
the stronger it gets and the better we get at it.
Spending an Eternity with God actually starts now and
I think He loves hearing from us even in simplest matters
which makes good practice for the much bigger even overwhelming events.
