I have two prayer requests.
My sister-in-law, CJ, went through breast cancer treatment in the early 2000’s. She has been fine since, but recently had a mammogram that precipitated a biopsy. There’s a scale thing and hers was almost at the top of the suspicious range. She has decided that she will have a mammogram. She is 60 and the sweetest person ever.
My dad have salivary gland cancer 4 years ago, and went through treatment for that - some really focused kind of radiation the name of which escapes me - out at MD Anderson in Houston. He called me this morning and said he has another lump in his mouth which is concerning, so he called his surgeon and is scheduled for a scan and a visit on the 14th. He did all of this and then called me - he’s 89. So I will take him - I’m praying for no more cancer as he cares for his wife who has late stage dementia. Also having caregiver complications so that could use a little prayer also.
