He is rather active, and the doctors were amazed that he has been getting around as well as he does, so my hopes are high. But, of course, God's will be done.

Update: Surgery has been rescheduled from Monday to Tuesday for reasons unknown to me.

i have been fighting cancer since last October going thru chemo/radiation and then more chemo and it damn near killed me.
i have been in hospital three times this year, 8 then 10 then 21 days.
the first when my body had multiple organ system complications and shut down, then again with additional complications, the third time i had major abdominal surgery all stemming from the chemo/rad.
the surgery was small bowel to small bowel bypass of multiple small bowel obstructions, meaning most of my sm bowel no longer functions in the normal manner.
along with ulcerative colitis and decompensatied liver with acities i am not in the best of shape.
that said i will be less visible here from now on and will not be answering every ping or post to me, let alone on this thread, just know i am not ignoring you, simply not up to it.

FReeper(Bigg Red) Uppdate:/FReeper Bigg Red Update. (End Prayer Request Tag)Good news! Ron had the surgery today, and all went well. The doctor told his son that Ron will probably get 15+ more years because of the surgery.
I don’t know why the surgery was moved to today again. My information is from spotty text messages from the son.

FReeper(Bigg Red) Update:/FReeper Bigg Red needs our prayers. (End Prayer Request Tag)Ron is being released from the hospital today, a week after his procedure. There was talk of sending him to rehab, but he was told that he does not need it. He says he still feels tired, and he does not like the “walks” they have him do, but overall he is feeling stronger and encouraged.
