It's very preliminary but the last update from the Dr. seemed much more optimistic. Bill is off the blood pressure support medication and they have gradually reduced the level of the vent. Praise God for his Kindness and Mercy.

Thank you for posting this. My prayers went up for Jim and family. I have a request that I would have never thought possible...This is really hard to say, but one of our sons stole our retirement. Hubby and I are in our mid-eighty’s. We’ve had to file suit against him. I can’t go into details. We have a wonderful lawyer helping us, and all the depositions have been taken except the two of us. Please pray that we will have the strength to finish this out. Through this time I have developed heart failure and hubby had to have a triple by-pass open heart surgery last November. We are resting in our Lord’s strength. But praying Christians on our side can really help.

Bill is resting comfortably and breathing on his own now but he has suffered a stroke and at this point he is not likely to recover. He has surprised us all by doing so well given his circumstances and that must be the power of all of your kind thoughts and prayers.
I've been acting as the point person for his medical team and the family.
Thank you everyone for praying and giving me the strength and courage I need, to help his children Ellen and Erin and our family through this difficult time.
