A Brazilian pastor prayed to God to “destroy the Jews like vermin” and bring about a second Holocaust during a sermon in Rio de Janeiro.
“Massacre the Jews, God, hit them with your sword, for they have left God, they have left the nations,” Pastor Tupirani da Hora Lores shouted at dozens of congregants earlier this month at his Geracao Jesus Cristo church, a recording of the event shows. His congregants are heard repeating his words passionately.

“Massacre the Jews, God, hit them with your sword, for they have left God, they have left the nations,” Pastor Tupirani da Hora Lores shouted at dozens of congregants earlier this month at his Geracao Jesus Cristo church, a recording of the event shows. “They contrived, went with prostitutes, and when they were told to repent they said they’d do it but they lied,” the pastor said,....
“God, what you have done in World War II, you must do again, this is what we ask for in our prayers to you: Justice, justice, justice!” da Hora Lores shouted at his church, a small and radical evangelical congregation.

That’s a mighty big waste of electrons over some screwball and his “dozens” of congregants. I’d say he has a much larger congregation out there to be concerned with.
That’s a problem with certain types of churches, where anyone can claim to be pastor and there is no oversight. It is literally “Pastor Bob’s church” and he can say or teach anything, no matter how bad. He just has to be able to give a fiery delivery that will attract a crowd.

Talk like that is on the edge between the freedom of religion/speech and communicating a threat. I would expect the Mossad to dig into and assess this evil man and his followers. An ounce of prevention (in the form of C4 or lead?) is worth a pound of cure in this case.

Cronos, I don’t think you understand what “evangelical” means. It is the belief that salvation is based solely on grace through Jesus Christ just as the Bible explains. As others on this thread have so rightly pointed out, this man in not an evangelical. He might be a pastor, but what he is preaching is not Christianity.
