In a typical display of unbridled greed, sleazy televangelist Kenneth Copeland warns followers that even if they lose their job because of the coronavirus pandemic they must keep giving him money because Jesus.
Today we bring you Old Demon Eyes himself, Kenneth Copeland, and be forewarned, he is really, really mad at unemployed, coronavirus quarantined Christians. Just when I think that Laodicean crooks like Kenneth Copeland, Paula White and all the others cannot possibly get any lower or more disgusting, they do. But Kenneth Copeland, as you will see in this video, is in a class all by himself when it comes to sleaze.
FEAR OF THIS CORONAVIRUS IS FAITH IN ITS ABILITY TO HURT YOU OR KILL YOU. THE FEAR OF WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO? IM GETTING LAID OFF AT WORK!
HEY! YOUR JOBS NOT YOUR SOURCE. IF IT IS, YOURE IN TROUBLE. JESUS IS YOUR SOURCE! WHATEVER YOU DO RIGHT NOW, DONT YOU STOP TITHING! DONT YOU STOP SOWING OFFERINGS.
WELL, THEY WONT LET US GO TO CHURCH!
WELL, EMAIL IT IN, THEN! TEXT TOGETHER. SOMETHING. BUT YOU GET YOUR TITHE IN THAT CHURCH IF YOU HAVE TO GO TAKE IT DOWN THERE AND DROP IT OFF
STICK IT UNDER THE DOOR OR SOMETHING. YOU GET THAT TITHE IN THAT CHURCH, YOU GET THAT OFFERING IN THAT CHURCH, AND THEN YOU GO HOME AND DO WHAT YOURE SUPPOSED TO DO.

but i don’t have to go to church to pray. so i don’t.
I saw my (I guess former) priest at the post office today. His car was much newer than mine, which is now in its third decade. I’m not good with most car makes now since many tend to look alike, but it sure wasn’t a rust bucket!
Notice how these guys always look like death warmed over?
Jim Jones minus the Cool-Aid.
Even if the entire concept of the “tithe” is nowhere in the New Testament.
Except when describing the hypocrites among the Pharisees, who boasted of tithing without having had the prerequisite change of the heart.
“He led the 9/11 rolling thunder parade every year.”
I must have met him then! :-) Thank him for his service for me, will you?
Did Rolling Thunder 9 years running. Have the patches, wore out the T-Shirts.
Pounding sand would be too good for him.
While I also find him repulsive, it seems he is talking about supporting your local parish in this case.
I feel the same way. And the way they manipulate those who strongly believe. Its so horribly shameful.
Not sure what movie that scene is from, but I don’t think they had dimensional lumber (2x4s and plywood) in those days to make tables. Just sayin’.
Televangelists are the professional wrestlers of religion
Sir, youre supposed to put money in the collection plate, not take it out.
While Copeland may be everything you say, he didn’t ask anyone to send HIM anything; he said keep tithing to your church.
And he didn’t yell at them; he was intense about it.
Ding him for stuff he actually does, but don’t make it something it’s not.
I believe Jesus/God IS my source! Even now. And I believe Copeland’s right. Tithe in spite of circumstances. Not out of duty, but as a demonstration of your faith in His provision and as a demonstration of your love for Him and His Kingdom.
Although I also agree that Copeland does/preaches questionable stuff and is hard to take sometimes, I also agree with the principle of a lot that he preaches.
The widow with two mites was praised by Jesus.
I don’t see anyone dinging him.
The Widows Offering
41 Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everythingall she had to live on.
Most of my dads family were Primitive Baptist, real salt of the earth, humble, shirt-off-their-back sort of people. Theyd look askance at this man and his church, had a name for it in fact.
Money church.
Jesus was indeed pissed at those money-changers.
Aw...Thanks! God Bless You Too. I am now a senior citizen, and a widow. I still ride, but 600 miles alone to DC is a bit much for me now. I keep it shorter now, Cape Cod, New Hampshire, Maine, Western MA, etc.
Can’t WAIT to get back in the wind. My antique 93 FXR Superglide is hibernating in my brother’s garage for the winter.
Could it be from ‘The Greatest Story Ever Told ‘?
Me neither nor the rack of clothes but it’s symbolic. I was looking for something depicting the scene and didn’t have time to do a historical fact check.
