There Is A SAINT CORONA, And She Is the Patron Saint Against EPIDEMICS

In Anzù, Northern Italy, the hotbed of the coronavirus in Europe, is a basilica where the relics of Saint Victor and Saint Corona are being preserved since the 9th century.

Saint Corona was only fifteen when she professed her Christian Faith during the persecution of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius around 165.

Corona was arrested and tied by her feet to the tops of two palm trees which were bent to the ground. When the palms were let loose she was torn apart. According to the Roman Martyrology, this happened in Syria.

Two investigations in 1943 and 1981, proved that the relics belong indeed to a man and a woman. Cedar pollen was found confirming an original burial in Syria and then in Cyprus.

Saint Corona is especially venerated in Austria and Bavaria as the patron-saint of treasure hunters and against epidemics. Her feast day is May 14.

Yep. Cowards.

Let’s strap this bomb to these little girls with Down Syndrome and send them into a school to kill all the women and children while I romance my goat and smoke my hookah.

May 14. Interesting coincidence...

Edward Jenner and the history of smallpox and vaccination

From the article...

...In May 1796, Edward Jenner found a young dairymaid, Sarah Nelms, who had fresh cowpox lesions on her hands and arms (Figure (Figure33). On May 14, 1796, using matter from Nelms' lesions, he inoculated an 8-year-old boy, James Phipps. Subsequently, the boy developed mild fever and discomfort in the axillae. Nine days after the procedure he felt cold and had lost his appetite, but on the next day he was much better...

Let’s be sure to pray to her. Communing with the dead is sure to help with the virus.

If my own father or mother were praying to the dead (by way of praying to a saint), I would do my very best to explain to them what they were doing (i.e. communing with the dead).

We had a guy in Sunday School class that said that he talks with the dead father. We explained to him the danger (gateway to the demonic) that such activity involves. BTW any exorcist would explain this to you.

Sometimes the truth hurts.

I don't care if those praying to saints (i.e., the dead) are Catholics or Protestant or somewhere in between...it is a dangerous activity.

“it is a dangerous activity.”

Demonic and dangerous.

Well, we disagree then. It was fairly obvious that the person posting was a Catholic, and thus from a Catholic perspective. You could’ve simply gone past her post it being not in your interest or belief, but instead had to drop in your snarky sarcasm. Again I say that was a dick move.

In other words, you think it is fine communing with the dead as long as the person doing it is a Catholic?

Amen to that. And demons aren’t picky about which denomination a person belongs to.

When it comes to warning people about danger (particularly the danger of the demonic), you can bet I am a dick.

Saints and angels are alive in Christ. Jesus “communed with the dead” on Mount Tabor, when he was transfigured. Also, the Apostles “communed with the dead” and risen Christ.

I talk to my pop since he died when I was 14.

Maybe I’m talking to myself, maybe i’m not.

Sometimes I ask him for help and to ask God for help.

Honest, I couldn’t give a flying #### what Protestants or any other group, including Catholics, think on some issues.

Never have.

But it’s good to see that Christians still foment hatred among each other based on, let’s be real, sh.t that doesn’t really matter except in our own ####ing self important, overly pious, holier than thou heads.

Lets make the job that much ####ing easier for muslims.

Cause if you people are DUMB ENOUGH to think one group of Christians will have your back after you talk smack (or what you think in your crazy head is the “TRUTH) about their sect, you’re ####ing nuts :)

YOU SEE WHAT I HAVE TO DEAL WITH DAD!?!? Ask God if he can help us out please!

:)

buongiorno

Jesus is God, he can commune with whomever He likes without worrying about the demonic.

The Apostles communed with the risen Savior...God.

BTW, I think exorcists commune with demons, but when they do they know how to do so and how to stand behind the shield of the Name (i.e., Jesus).
