Pope Francis made a strong new push for globalism on Thursday, calling for a supranational, legally constituted body to enforce United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and implement “climate change” policies.
Speaking to members of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences in the Vatican’s Apostolic Palace, the Pope said: “When a supranational common good is clearly identified, there is need for a special legally constituted authority capable of facilitating its implementation.”
“Think of the great contemporary challenges of climate change, new slavery and peace,” he told members of the Pontifical Academy, who are meeting this week at the Vatican for a plenary session themed: “Nation, State, Nation-State.”
Featured speakers at the May 1-3 plenary include German Cardinal Walter Kasper, who spoke on: “Peace Stemming from Justice. Theological Reflections Between Men, Communities and Nations”; Archbishop Roland Minnerath of Dijon, France, who delivered the opening talk on day two, themed: “Nation, State, Nation-State and the Doctrine of the Catholic Church”; and German climatologist and founding director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact, Hans Joachim Schellnhuber, who addressed the Pontifical Academy on “The State of the World.”

Catholics need to understand that if they want to be true to God, they cannot depend on the RCC anymore. If they do not want to leave, they will need to start small groups in homes for actual worship - they will not find it in a politicized Church.

This pope is confused in both religious matters, as well as terrestrial issues.

The idea that a supposed Christian leader believes a government of this world, any government, is an instrument for good is ignorant or stupid. Our government structure is based on the premise that men are not good, ergo, division of power and authority - in a word checks and balances. "Checks" as in getting checked in hockey. This is why the benevolent Obama (sarc) is not our king for life. Even with our republican form of government - it is not and will not be the instrument for ushering in the kingdom of God. Pope Francis should know that preaching the gospel of Jesus the Christ to a lost world is what changes people for the good - not a "supranational" government, which wouild be run by mostly godless and anti-Christ people.
