I don't accept the entirety of Sola Scriptura.

Then it should be VERY easy to show the lurkers (fools that they'd be by now) just what is LACKING; right?

It's trivial. The New Testament tells us how to get saved.

But it doesn't tell us day-by-day, instructions.

And these instructions might be personal, or they might be for others; and they might be for spiritual aid (St. Dominic); or they might be prayers for Mercy (Fatima); or they might be to bring attention to Jesus where there wasn't any before.

The Bible doesn't tell us "pray for person X *today*".

Sometimes the Holy Spirit does; sometimes He sends an emissary. An angel, and sometimes, for big picture stuff, apparently, Mary.

Why reject a call to pray for Mercy?
