AMEN! And how about the statues of Mary that they have in churches that they kneel before and worship her? I guess the 2nd Commandment (1st Commandment in the Catholic church)means nothing to them either.
Oh?
The words of Jesus said: "He that shewed mercy on him."
Why is it SO hard for Catholics to get the actual wording correct?
No, I'm just responding in kind.
Thank you, dear one!
No spin. Just fact.
As opposed to the non-avian SHOO bird?
Perhaps your seeing eye dog was taking a nap...
To: Al Hitan ... my time being too precious to waste on your projects.
My Projects? YOU made the claim (I just saw someone use this phrase) that there existed a "lengthy list". And, that you knew of no one that had the time to post it for us. I don't know who has the time to compile that lengthy list. So; are we (lurkers included) to assume that there will be NO list forthcoming from the Catholic apologists?

You do a REAL good ELIZA impersonation; too.
Pay attention. That's what I'm telling you - I didn't say that.
Interesting. I'm not trying to impersonate you.
Look what you started!
Work work work, trying to merit eternal life ... you miss the lesson Jesus is teaching TO A JEW UNDER THE COVENANT OF THE LAW, so you apply it to your pride-filled religion.
I beat you by 537 posts! Haha. See my post 14.
then call the cops because SOMEONE at your end sure typed it!
You seem to be having a difficult time understanding, so I'll explain it to you in detail.
Here is what you claimed I said: "YOU made the claim (I just saw someone use this phrase) that there existed a "lengthy list".
Here is what I actually said: "I don't know who has the time to compile that lengthy list" in response to you saying "assume that there will be NO list forthcoming".
I didn't say there "existed a "lengthy list" but that one would have to be "compiled". Pay more attention and stop attributing quotes to me that I didn't make.

The essential bond experienced btwn spiritual born again believers is fundamentally based upon a shared scriptural conversion with its profound basic changes in heart and life, yet which itself is due to believing a basic salvific doctrine (the gospel of the grace of God). And which results in esteeming Scripture as the wholly inspired and reliable word of God, and commitment to basic salvific doctrines. Thus evangelicals are the main market for study Bibles, and the one major group most contending against cults.
However, at the same time most realize that there is much that allows for varying degrees of disagreement, and thus what church you belong to is not the basis for fellowship - though they indicates how deep our unity may be - but it is a shared Truth-based relationship with the risen Lord Jesus that changed them. Born again believers can thus realize a wonderful essential "unity of the Spirit" even upon meeting, which transcends "tribal" differences, which is also manifest in the many meetings and non-denom evangelical para-church orgs in which they worship and work together.
Yet at the same time. because Scripture and faith are taken seriously, we can also disagree on many things in a matter of minutes. Yet usually such are not to the degree that we must lose our essential unity.
God is far more interested in the matters of the heart than He is in the doctrinal purity that Catholicism hyper-emphasizes so much. Its sharing a common salvation that is found by faith in Christ.
Actually it is Catholicism that is far from being doctrine-intensive, except for the traditionalists, but which, while spuriously arguing as if Catholicism was unified, actually cause division by making the validity of so much modern RC teaching subject to their interpretation/judgment of what historical Catholic teaching is. And too often they are correct, yet which still does not make distinctive Catholic teachings scriptural.
Guess I’m -— uh -— a little slow....
I prefer to see God as the Ocean, and Jesus is the yacht that we ride to heaven, and Mary is the dinghy that shuttles us from shore.
