In recent remarks, Pete Buttigieg, Democratic presidential candidate and mayor of South Bend, Indiana, remarked that his same-sex “marriage” to Chasten Glezman has brought him closer to God. His remarks were directed toward Vice President Mike Pence, who is on record as opposing such “marriages.” Buttigieg said:
Being married to Chasten has made me a better human being because it has made me more compassionate, more understanding, more self-aware and more decent. My marriage to Chasten has made me a better man. And yes, Mr. Vice President, it has moved me closer to God.
This raises a question: To what god has he moved closer? Respectfully and sincerely, Mr. Buttigieg, it cannot be the God who has revealed himself in the Scriptures and through the Church. God is not in the habit of speaking out of both sides of his mouth. He does not contradict himself by altering, let alone reversing (as you claim) his teachings.
At every stage of scriptural revelation, from Genesis through the New Testament, God has spoken of homosexual acts as sinful and disordered. He also condemns other forms of illicit sexual union such as fornication and adultery. Jesus even condemns the entertaining of lustful thoughts. I have written before of the biblical record on these teachings (“Do Not Be Deceived: God Forbids Homosexual Acts”).
Some point out that Jesus is never recorded in Scripture as condemning homosexual acts. That may be true — but he is not recorded as condemning rape, either. An argument based on silence is weak at best and erroneous at worst. Further, Jesus said to his apostles “He who hears you hears me” — and the apostles unambiguously describe homosexual acts as sinful. These biblical texts are not ambiguous, and they are consistent across every biblical era.

Like you say- if we don’t say anything about the sin of homosexuality- which is exactly what Satan wants- He wants everyone to become so sick of the discussions that they stop even discussing it and just accept it, then We’ve lost the battle-
Satan wants people to say “Meh, it doesn’t affect me, doesn’t hurt me” and ‘what people do in their own private home is none of my business’ but the FACT is- they don’t just do it in their own private home- many homos are predators- and what they do DOES affect others- by the spread of aids, the spread of std’s to people not even associated with them via blood transfusions, dirty needles, unsafe practices etc- by contracting the diseases that require very expensive medical treatment- which of course they go on welfare so the citizens of America are forced to pay for their medical needs-

Yes He does believe that He’s stated that several times now-
They have always been abused by men (and women) to force subjects to obey "the will of God". On the surface I think churches provide a good intentioned way of guiding people but the opportunity for corruption is frequently too much for many men to deny.
When I think about how badly the Catholic church has been destroyed from within by the very people who were supposed to be the role models (the priests); I feel disgusted.
Now I see other brands like the Methodist church breaking down into two camps; the pro-homo and the non-homo. If the goal was to destroy religion; what better way than to use homosexuality and pedophilia as a method? Neither is compatible with Christianity/the bible yet they flourish in all religions. Even the cult known as Islam where the penalty for homosexuality is death. Talk about a major conflict of faith!!
I’m not a Catholic, but pastors from every denomination have engaged in the sin of homosexuality and pedophilia, including cover-ups. And what the Priest is saying is true. The fact that he’s Catholic does not change that.

Sin is only forgiven if you repent and sin no more. You first must accept Christ into your heart and change your ways.
It's logically fallacious to reject moral advice given by a hypocrite; if the world's greatest thief tells you not to steal, you cannot conclude that stealing is okay.
You can't even claim that the Monsignor is a hypocrite; you're merely engaging in false generalization, attaching blame to someone because of evil things done by other individuals who may have nothing in common with the Monsignor except the priesthood.

On the human level, one is only hypocritical if one condemns it while engaging in it oneself.
