PRAYER:
Mighty God, we know the power of your redemption given by the good news of Jesus’ resurrection. The world has been changed forever! Jesus accepted death on the cross to break the hold of our sin to be able to share in his resurrection, redeemed, restored and freed to be your people forever.
God of Truth, we put our complete trust in you for the healing of our broken nation. We ask for your Holy Spirit to open all hearts for repentance. Restore morality within the people of our nation and our government. Lead us to recognize the sanctity of life and prevent the exploitation of the weak and vulnerable. We continue to pray for the physical, mental and spiritual protection of President Trump and Vice President Pence and their families. Give them wisdom, strength and resolve to stand against evil as they serve in their governing roles you have appointed for them. End the “Deep State’s” attacks against President Trump and his administration.
We ask for you to provide continued transparency to expose the corruption of our judicial and legislative branches and all agencies that sabotage our government. Prayer also continues an ethical media that will report truth rather than develop false narratives to satisfy political agendas. Help our government complete the construction of a border wall to support our national security and reinforce the work of the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement [I.C.E.]. Also, we ask for your protection for our military and all first responders that put themselves in harm’s way for our nation.
Holy God, hear our prayers: transform us, our nation and the world through them. O God, help us to daily live and share your message of salvation. Guide us in the path of discipleship so that as you have blessed us, use us to be a blessing for others. O God, transform us, our nation and the world through them. Holy God, you have called us to follow in the way of your risen Son. We pray in Jesus name, who even now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen
