Pope Francis announced Monday that the Vaticans archives on controversial World War II-era pope Pius XII would be opened up eight years earlier than planned, in 2020, a move seen as an olive branch to Jews who have criticized the Vatican for not doing enough during the Holocaust.
The church is not afraid of history, Pope Francis said, announcing the move in a speech to members of the Vaticans Secret Archives. On the contrary, it loves it, and would like to love it even more, like it loves God.
The idea is to fully Marx up the Catholic Church.
They’re already there
Anything to get away from the total incompetence of the current Pope and his communist and homosexual slant.
Jesuits are the end of the popery.

Um, no dog in this fight, but in order to love god
Wouldn’t you have to know god first?
His popeness sure doesn’t look like it to me.
Unless god of course wants the church destroyed...
If what I have read in the past is true Pope Pius the XII will be vindicated.
OPEN UP ALL THE DAMNED ARCHIVES!!!!
There is stuff in that archive that would BLOW EVERYONE’S MIND!!!!
Pope Jesuit the Worst doesn’t want any other country to have borders, has walls around vatican....
Think about all the crap they stored away in the vatican that could change history. There is 1800+ years of missing history in those archives. WE HAVE A RIGHT AS HUMANITY TO KNOW!
[ Jesuits are the end of the popery. ]
He should be called “Pope Jesuit the Worst”
I'm almost convinced this pope is as evil as Judas.
Maybe next there’ll be an investigation of FDR sending a shipload of Jewish refugees back to Europe and the deaths of many at the hands of the Nazis. Our holier-than-thou is holier than you holier-than-thou.
The archives in question cover 1939-1958. Not sure how you get 1800+ years of missing history out of that.
No reason for the church to HAVE secret files. Anyway, more interesting is the deals they made with Mussolini and the money laundering they did at the Vatican bank. Yeah a few bad vatican types helped nazis flee after the war on vaticana issued passports.
But it would be very uncool to blame anyone there today for that shady past. Most religions would be shamed by their activities of 100+ years ago.
But none of them should keep it secret. Sunshine is still the best disinfectant.
Deflection from the sex abuse scandals hitting the church these days?

I’m talking ALL OF THEIR ARCHIVES!!! Not just the WW-II section.... THE ENTIRE DAMNED LIBERRY!
I’m not a fan of Francis and he may have an alternate motive, but usually less secrecy and more transparency is a good thing.
Opening the Vatican records on this era may reveal some shortcomings, but it also may reveal that Pius was doing more to oppose Naziism/Facism and to protect its victims than has been previously revealed.
The movie (with Gregory Peck) Scarlet Pimpernel is based on a true story of how the Vatican/Catholics/Italians saved Jews...
It is the Scarlet and the Black 1983 movie with Gregory Peck. The movie is about Monsignor Hugh O'Flaherty - an Irish priest stationed at the Vatican...
It would be interesting to have a look at the Apostolic Bank archives and the case of Roberto Calvi who supposedly hanged himself off the Blackfriar’s Bridge in 1982. The Vatican bank was the main shareholder for Banco Ambrosiano, of which Calvi had been chairman.
I don’t think you are being very fair to Judas. At least Judas realized his error and committed suicide.
