Several people have expressed interest in doing another day of prayer and fasting for our nation, like the one done November of this past year.
With the new year starting and the House in new hands for the next two years, this seemed like a good time to do it.
There are still many things facing us that need God's divine hand of intervention.
Please pray for spiritual renewal across this country, that the Holy Spirit would do His convicting work in the hearts and minds of His church for their sanctification, and unbelievers for their salvation.
Pray for our elected representatives to make wise and godly decision, even ins spite of themselves.
Pray that evil would be exposed and dealt with, that we would finally see the justice done that needs to be done.
Please pray for protection of our military and law enforcement, and other first responders.
Pray that the spread of islam and the moral degradation of perverted sexuality to be halted, that abortion and all funding of it would be stopped.
Please pray that our borders would be secured and those protecting them would be safe.
There are other needs that we have and please feel free to add them for us to pray for. God lays different concerns on different people's hearts and need to be prayed for.
There is also the Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem and AMERICA Prayer Vigil threads for other things to pray for and a keyword search of *prayer* will bring those up.
As with the last day of prayer and fasting, the goal is for an entire day of fasting and prayer. If that's not possible, then even a meal or some other sacrifice will do.

Prayer and fasting ping
while i agree and will join in the day with you and others, this sentence is a bit off course in it’s ending:

the first part with the comma is fine evil should be exposed and dealt with so it is thwarted and not continuing, but it is for God to decide if those doing evil experience justice in this life or not. Jesus didn’t walk around making sure justice was served - he talked of God’s kingdom and doing right and showed it by example. we need to stick with God and His word while keeping ourselves and our views of what we think should happen or how it should happen out of it.
Yes, justice is ultimately served by God, but the government is also responsible to see that temporal justice is done, and it has been remiss in its duties.

your wording didn’t indicate govt picking up it’s slack, read more like “we” (you, me and readers) would get some satisfaction. Sure if you really meant to say that the USA would get back to original things it’s supposed to be doing (protecting citizens from invasion) then I agree.

However, the Eve of the Epiphany (Theophany) on Saturday January 5 is kept as a Strict Fast Day on par with the days of Great Lent, and I will dedicate my fasting on that day, in part, to this cause.
I will also remember this nation during the Royal Hours of Theophany which will be served, this year, on Friday morning January 4. The 15 Psalms, 4 Old Testament lessons, 4 Epistles, and 4 Gospels provide a veritable feast on God's word.
Good to see this prayer and fasting time is to happen again. I’ll be participating, but it may be from the evening of the 4th.
