PRAYER:
Almighty God, we praise you for your constant presence from generation to generation. Give us wisdom to choose between you and the false gods of this world. Even when we are unfaithful and insist on choosing our own way, when we repent you forgive our brokenness and allow us to return to you. In the midst of evil, give us strength to serve as living witness of your truth.
This Veteran’s Day we pray for all that have served and are currently serving in our military. Guide and protect our soldiers that daily place themselves in harm’s way in order to defend our way of life. We realize now that no longer can we think of combat as solely fought overseas. Many of the United States’ enemies are among us and plot against us both here and afar. We pray for their families that also make sacrifices enduring frequent moves and long separations.
Bless and strengthen President Trump and Vice President Pence to the lives of service to which you have called them. Protect them and their families physically, mentally and spiritually from all evil. Give them your wisdom to discern your will for our nation. Prevent those that would corrupt and attempt to falsify our election results. Stop the deep-state violating your plans for our nation while scheming to manipulate and control government policy.
Hear our prayer Lord, that by your grace we will love you completely with our whole being. Make us one with each other to share your salvation given through Jesus Christ our Lord to all the world, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen

Oh how we as your ‘children’ so easily forget that you are in control of this world and that unlike we, who see the under side of the tapestry, full of loose strings and a pattern that we can't easily distinguish, You see the upper side in all it's wondrous details as you weave your threads throughout this worlds affairs and those of men.....remind us of this truth...and that we can always trust you know exactly what you are doing.
Lord we think of the divisions happening in our country and the discomfort it's creating in many hearts and minds....and yet we know also you did say... "Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division.".....
Father help us to accept these divisions as a sifting at your hand, a weeding out and revealing what has been hidden for so long. Help us to have clear minds to see and hear with your eyes and ears, to identify falsehood at this time of such deceptiveness and most of all grant our leaders all of this and more that they might lead this nation out of these troubling times to exactly how you want us on the world stage.
Protect and keep in your hands all our leaders and families and be with every soldier on the field of conflict and war. Oversee this world as we entrust it all to you.....

Revive us again. Bring a renewal to our hearts that compels us to live out the Gospel in a way that draws the lost to Jesus.
You, oh Lord, are our ONLY hope.

And Father, we thank you for exposing the evil among us as we asked, and we pray that You would now please raise up righteous men and women who do righteousness to enforce the laws we have.
Please remove those who do evil. Render their plans ineffective and let them come back on them.
We also pray for a revival among your church, that You would purify her and draw believers to a life of holiness and surrender to You.
And by Your Holy Spirit, move through this country in the hearts and minds of unbelievers to seek You during this time of great upheaval. Give us the opportunity to share Your love with others and give them the reason for the hope in us, which is Christ in us, the Hope of Glory.
Thank you for all You have blessed us with and let us continue to have hearts of gratitude for it and never take those blessings for granted.
