I will be so happy if my Lord Jesus Christ accepts me as one of His followers. Is it possible if I was born a Muslim?
Thats a question from a man in the Middle East who reached out to BGEAs internet evangelism ministry, Search for Jesus, after hearing about Christ through Christian friends.
Search for Jesus has over 500 trained volunteers ready to respond to online visitors with the hope of the Gospel. Two of those volunteers, Brian and Kimberly of North Carolina, spent years as missionaries to Muslims in Southeast Asia and now answer emails from Muslims around the world.
The No. 1 issue Brian and Kimberly deal with in their ministry is whether Jesus is actually God. - They also get lots of questions about supposed corruption of the Bible.
Is Jesus God?
Muslims believe Jesus is separate from God, instead of God in human flesh as Christians believe. Many also think Christians worship multiple gods through their belief in the trinity.
Some helpful Bible verses:
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Deuteronomy 6:4
Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. John 14:9
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. John 1:1-2
Is the Bible Corrupted?
At the time of Muhammad, his followers were encouraged to read the Bible, Brian said. The Bible that Muhammad encouraged them to read is the same Bible we have today. Yet many Muslims believe its been corrupted, partly through various translations.
A great question to ask, Brian said, is which parts have supposedly been corrupted and how they know.

My fear of Muslims and my hatred of Islam clouds my thinking on this important issue. But God put this on my heart: Treat all of your enemies (real and imagined) as future Christians, who one day will look back on your kindness and light as that of Christ Himself.
How Can You Share the Gospel with Muslims?

“My fear of Muslims and my hatred of Islam clouds my thinking on this important issue.”
Thank you for being honest about this. I have to face the fact the I am in the same position.
From conversion stories I have read from ex-Muslims, it is almost always a conversion through Jesus visiting them in the dream or a vision.
I have never read of a Muslim being “convinced” through logic, reason, or comparing Bible verses, etc.
It is nearly always an emotional/spiritual/supernatural event that triggers it.
Pretty much.
Trijicon used to engrave a Bible verse into their scopes. That was a cool way.
Pretty much sums it up.
I don’t fear moslems, but I don’t like Islam either.
I will say it’s probably best to let your actions speak for you. It’s hard having a conversation when they’re trying to cut off your air supply.
I attend a fairly large, mainstream Presbyterian church. The pastor often makes jokes about how orderly, “blah” and conventional our church is. But always in connection with something that is really amazing that God is doing.
Several months ago he was going through a wedding rehearsal on a Friday. Saw this guy in muslim garb come into the sanctuary. One of the security people (plain clothes) asked if they could help him.
“I’d like to talk the pastor after he is done.”
“Perhaps I can help you - what would you like to talk to him about?”
“I want to talk to him about Jesus. I was given a dream and given an image of this church - and I finally found it! I want to be a Christian.”
I imagine that he was led there as we have an associated church that worships in another building on campus that is full of refugees from all sorts of nations from Africa. With many former muslim’s worshiping.
Engrave a couple verses on your bullets.
You can share the Gospel with Muslims, but your head will be separated very quickly from your body before you’re even finished.
First you have to understand that Muslims do not and will not accept or read the Bible. You have to use the Quran as your proof. To do that, ask the following questions:
Who does the Quran say is the “Word of God”? Is it Mohammad or Jesus? If they say Mohammad then either:
- they lie
- they are not well educated in the Quran
- they do not accept the Quran’s teachings
Any of these three are not teachable. Best to part ways.
If they say Jesus, you have a Muslim that you can possibly convert.
This is one of the many reasons Islam can't be reformed, or blended into another religion, or watered down.
One God, Muhammad is Allah's prophet, period!.
Anything else is heresy, and wishful thinking. - Tom
“How Can You Share the Gospel with Muslims?”
The Good LORD had a dozen followers who walked and talked around to spread the WORD.
The Muzzy prophet ‘spread the word’ immediately after he had a small army.....BY THE SWORD— A “kill’em all” kind of guy and message.
What makes it impossible to converse with a muzzy?
TAH KEE AH !
Share the gospel? Sure, renounce Islam or die.
muslims deserve to receive the gospel. Get a stadium sized loudspeaker system, place it across the street from your neighborhood mosque where they have that moaning blaring several times a day and pay the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus rendition of Onward Christian Soldiers continuously at full volume.
Look, not every approach works on everyone.
Gotta know your audience.
