I wanted to give you all an update. They cancelled my scan the day I was supposed to have it done and re-scheduled it for the 29th. The insurance company (cigna) has been horrible throughout this. They love to deny everything. We will be paying for it by credit card just to be able to have it done./FReeper Trillian needs our prayers.My son is going through his pre-surgery testing on the 1st. He has to have surgery for a condition called Pectus Excavatum. He has a severe case.
My daughter finished her month long heart monitoring today so we will be awaiting the results after it’s sent in. I’m hoping we will get some answers on why she’s been collapsing. She’s the one that had heart surgery when she was a few years old.
Getting hit with all of this at once has been really difficult.

My daughter had her cardiologist appointment yesterday to review the results of her heart monitoring. He came up with a few things to investigate because he couldn’t find out the cause of her collapsing. He put her on a medication to regulate her heart rate and for us to set up a couple of appointments with two other specialists. This morning my husband gets a call telling him to stop her meds. Her doctor couldn’t stop thinking about it and reviewed her scans again in case he missed something from the children’s hospital and the most recent ones she had during her monitoring. He noticed something was off and ordered an ultrasound today of her carotid artery and brachial artery. During the ultrasound they stopped and brought someone else in to check it out. From what my husband was able to see, there is something wrong with her carotid artery and might be the cause of her problem. They are going in to see a vascular specialist tomorrow morning for the report and what to do next. I am praying they are able to fix what is wrong so she can live a normal life.
I am so thankful my husband was able to find this doctor after hers retired. He was able to find a problem my husband had that was missed his entire life.
We’re still waiting on my son’s surgery date.
I got my PET scan results yesterday and they are clean. I am finally in remission! I’ve never been so happy to be so wrong in my entire life. My doctor wants me to have my lymph nodes/nodules checked frequently. I am to go in right away if they get bigger or painful.
