I was finally able to see my doctor today after he was closed for a few months. What felt like two nodules on my neck on my lymph nodes, turned out to be five. I have three on one side and two on the other. He ordered a PET Scan and now i’m waiting for a date. I just know it’s more cancer.

He told me my thyroid meds are too high again and to lower the dose. No matter what dose i’m on I feel horrible and barely able to function. Like a zombie with dementia, migraines and heart issues. I have more than 3/4 of all the side effects listed on this med. I wish I didn’t have to take them, but I no longer have a thyroid and have to.

My husband’s career choice has been very destructive to our family and I have been trying to get him to change careers and to try putting me first. His career always comes first. I have talked to him numerous times about it. Please pray he sees the light.

Prayers would be so greatly appreciated.

Glorious wonder-worker, St. Peregrine, you answered
the divine call with a ready spirit, and forsook
all the comforts of a life of ease and all the
empty honors of the world to dedicate yourself to God
in the Order of His holy Mother.

You labored manfully for the salvation of souls. In union
with Jesus crucified, you endured painful sufferings
with such patience as to deserve to be healed miraculously
of an incurable cancer in your leg by a touch of
His divine hand.

Obtain for Our Dear Trillian the grace to answer every
call of God and to fulfill His will in all the
events of life. Enkindle in her heart a consuming
zeal for the salvation of all men.

Deliver Trillian from the infirmities that afflict her body

Obtain for her also a perfect resignation to the sufferings
it may please God to send, so that,
imitating our crucified Savior and His sorrowful Mother,
she may merit eternal glory in heaven.

Please don’t get ahead of yourself.

Let the doctor tell you instead of worrying in advance. Not all worries come true.

I take the darn thyroid pills, too but for hypo, not hyper so I have a thyroid left. But why can’t they successfully replace the hormone so it’s like the one we used to have produced by our bodies? Who knows. Woman I used to know at work changed doses at doctor every six months or so but most people stay on one dose for years.

See if brand name or generic, or the time you take a dose, or drink a full glass of water and no eating for 1/2 hour vs. an hour if that makes a difference. I was told by another patient that an endocrinologist knows more than the regular MD. Haven’t tried that yet. And losing some pounds takes the pressure of the dosage-—BUT you can’t lose with my type at least. A struggle to not gain.

Be calm and set yourself apart from the cares such as your husband’s career. You have to think about healing yourself and being relaxed. Stress upsets the thyroid balance.

Thyroid mood swings make that hard as I know. Who would guess that one small gland would do all that harm to our emotions and bodies?

I’ll be praying for the very best for you. Stop worrying and leave this to God and the doctors, in that order.

Dear Father, we hear Your adopted daughter Trillian crying out for help and Healing not only for herself but for her family—especially her husband, that blind eyes be opened. We fervently and unashamedly add our voices to hers. We know that You will hear a prayer in Your Will, and that a righteous prayer for a righteous daughter avails much, and we know You will hear many prayers for this prayer warrior of God. You have given Your Promise and so Your Comforter will come to Trillian and her family. but more than that we ask for a miracle. a true Healing due to Your Faith, as we hold You in faith as our Great Healer, the Glorious Object of our faith, our Christ, our Savior. I will be praying for you. I totally empathize with you about husband's career taking precedent over you even when you have serious health challenges. I won't share my experiences here because you are the focus. Just know you aren't alone and the God is totally sovereign in what you are going through.

Thank You for Your only Son JESUS CHRIST who won the victory over sin and death. By His stripes we were healed.

Draw close to Trillian in her time of need. May she feel release as she lays her burdens at Your feet.

Touch each of the nodules on Trillian’s neck with the healing power of JESUS CHRIST. If it is Your Will - remove them now. Astound the doctors when she goes to her PET Scan! Regulate her thyroid medicine and her mood swings.

In the Name of JESUS we speak to the spirit of fear that is get a foothold in Trillian’s spirit. “Scriptures say perfect love casts out fear. The banner over Trillian is LOVE. Be gone in JESUS’ Name.”

May Trillian look to You for strength and guidance. May she delight in Your Word, for healing is in the Word; and may hope arise as Holy Spirit bring to her remembrance Your goodness and mercy as she reads the stories of old and meditates upon Your Promises. Stir up her faith and quiet her spirit.
