Please pray for all those that are getting tests and awaiting results that may indicate a serious cancer.

This morning a second and much too humble FReeper who (for the moment) will remain nameless has requested prayers for an upcoming scan.

Please add your first name to this thread and we will all pray for your complete healing and freedom from all anxiety by name to the Divine Physician and in prayer may we all be drawn nearer to each other in unity with our brother, Lord and Savior Christ Jesus who desires that we all be as one.

I need to add one for my daughter and her husband, Mary and James. They are traveling back to their condo in uptown(Chicago) after spending last week in the keys for a friends wedding. Mary called me very early this morning physically ill filled with anxiety over returning home today. Mary is no cupcake, she even survived a very serious motorcycle accident in 2007 but they are both suburban raised and since his job is downtown they decided on a place in the city. Uptown has been a gang turf battle ground since they moved in over a year ago. I think they both have a form of PTSD probably without the post.

Please pray for all those traveling and those living under the constant threat of violence.

Praises for good reception of first two infusions of rituxan. THIRD infusion is Monday, the 25th. Pray that all goes well and that my blood numbers show movement in the proper directions (whites down, reds up, platelets stay the same).

I am cautiously posting this very good news. Bear in mind that I will never be totally cured of this. The docs know my bone marrow makes too many leukocytes, but they do not know why. Therefore, they cannot target that process and stop it.

Nonetheless, here is what I found out during my infusion today:
Praise the Lord! I have been cautiously optimistic as I’ve seen the progressing blood results. However, today’s bloods were totally great. I am just barely not anemic; the first time in about 15 years! My whites are down, just on the outside of normal and the platelets are perfect. I am expecting the oncologist to declare me in remission next week or the next. Yay!

New Infool7
(Jack) infool7's boss's family. WWII PTSD and despair.

Jack is a 90 year old man from Harold and Myrna's place that served in the Philippines in WWII. "I headed to war with a New Testament in one pocket and a rosary in the other." But the things he saw that the Japanese had done to Americans in places they liberated..."I had to throw it all away. There is no God." He remains tormented by the memories. Special prayers for all those in despair over dire or unfavorable test results. May they receive the Grace from the Holy Spirit to trust in God's plan for them.

My wife Ann and I will be keeping all of these intentions in our thoughts and prayers at Mass this afternoon.

Prayers for the success of getting your pacemaker implanted.

I thought we could revive this old thread and perhaps even get some updates on those we have been praying for.

I am blessed with only mundane challenges that are well within my ability to remedy. Car and washing machine repairs. No health issues with Mrs, Infool7, I or the kids.

I would like prayers for the success of a Grotto Restoration Project I am working on with the County.

1) My son’s fiance’s teacher(Brooke) lost her baby this morning.

2) Is (almost)totally anonymous for a brave freeper most of us know and love but doesn’t want to make a thing out of it.
