Please pray for all those that are getting tests and awaiting results that may indicate a serious cancer.
This morning a second and much too humble FReeper who (for the moment) will remain nameless has requested prayers for an upcoming scan.
Please add your first name to this thread and we will all pray for your complete healing and freedom from all anxiety by name to the Divine Physician and in prayer may we all be drawn nearer to each other in unity with our brother, Lord and Savior Christ Jesus who desires that we all be as one.

Hello - I thought I would offer another update for Edith, my mother.FReeper midnightcat needs our continued prayers for her mother Edith Click here to respond to midnightcatShe starts 6-7 weeks of radiation to her parotid gland, 5 days a week, 15 minutes a day. She has salivary duct carcinoma, a very tough tumor to deal with. Please feel free to let me know if you have any dietary tricks you know of for dealing w/radiation to the face/throat area! I’m getting as much info as possible for the dry, sore throat she’s going to have. She’ll probably have a lot of Ensure and ice cream.
Also, we got an interesting phone call early yesterday morning from Jefferson University. Her tumor tested positive for a genetic mutation and there is a targeted drug trial for that. Amazing news, although we won’t know how her cancer will respond until she’s on it, and there are some potential rough side effects. Vismodegib is the drug. The doctor says if the tumor responds, the results are amazing. We’ll have to see if mom can handle the side effects or not when that time comes. Thank you all for continued prayers!

I asked for prayers for my dear friend Michelle who had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Freepers- we want to thank all of you who lifted her and her family in prayers- it worked!
