ROME - Pope Francis announced Sunday that he will create 14 new cardinals in June

As of June 29, when the new cardinals are inducted, the total number of cardinals will be 227, of whom 125 will be under 80, meaning able to vote for a new pope. That’s well above the traditional ceiling of 120 electors established under Blessed Pope Paul VI.

I went to mass today and all I could think about was this issue with the German bishops trying to make the Eucharist essentially a meaningless symbol that anyone can share because their feelings are more important than the sacrament. And how the Pope is playing a game of lettIng them do it by pretendIng not to have a position. And I was thinking “if the Eucharist is not worthy of being protected, if it’s not our holiest sacrament, then everything this church has told me has been a lie”. In mass all I could think was “am I really still a Catholic? This bedrock part of my life has been shaken.

Sadly, as he is adding new “progessive” Cardinals, we can rest assured that Bergoglio was not the last “false shepherd”. He is ensuring that another homosexualist, abortion-tolerant, Eucharist-dismissing Cardinal follows him as Pope.

And it’s all being done for the express purpose of demoralizing the truly faithful, and undermining the Church’s authority.

Bergoglio is not a “false shepherd” . He is an anti-Pope at best, but I wonder if he is something even far worse.

However five current Cardinals turn eighty over the course of the next year so it will remain around 120.

Nor online petitions either. Nor calls and letters to cardinals and bishops who are not our own! These things make us look ignorant or foolish. Communicate properly with the hierarchy or not at all.
