No; it was fake news from a left wing journalist, the sort of thing I see often. Then the pious judge a soul based on the fake news and imagine they are safe from judgment.

There are only two who know for sure. But I for one believe the story. The Vatican has issued it’s usual milquetoast non-denial denial. It’s my strong belief that if the Pope had been misquoted on something like this the Vatican would have come right out and said so in no uncertain terms.

This Pope is a heretic.

That’s not on attack on Catholicism. It’s a prudent evidence based judgement on this single man. And I suspect a very large percentage of FR’s Catholics agree with my assessment.
