Doubly good point as I often use the word ‘so’ as a replacement for ‘because’. They appear to be both cause & effect words. However, now if I see correctly, the order is reversed.
EG He climbed the mountain BECAUSE it was there.
The reverse order
EG It was there SO he climbed the mountain.
EG The mountain was there SO he climbed it.
Darn it, the stuff I learn on FR.
Yes, your right about that, and you’re point is well made.
"We need to see the numbers on a spreadsheet so that we can decision our priorities."
The word "decide" is already a fine term, even if one is not literally cutting the thing into ten pieces.
pass immigration reform = grant amnesty to millions of people here illegally and then do it again every 10-15 years.
Yes, “Just saying” definitely needs to be on the list. Also “at the end of the day”.
binary. I am really either a man or woman but I want to be trendy and annoy normal people.
“I could care less...”
Ironic slang from the Second World War; a shortened form of “I could care less...but it would be hard.”
Propaganda’s original meaning was “propagation” -— an agricultural metaphor, to cultivate and spread -— the truths of the Christian faith: propaganda fidei.
Where do I sign up? Where do I donate?
cis-gendered? Which one is that? I get confused anymore.
cosplay. wearing a costume to a comic com or other convention. Not attractive with 40 years and older. Typically spending a few thousand a year to feel like a fictional character.
LOL! Yep!
casting couch. Replaced by hotel suite with double jacuzzi and king bed.
These are mostly expressions of human dysfunction, such as, seeking approval, control, fear etc. Which explains why so many attribute the phrases to liberal Democrats.
“You know what I mean” seeks approval from others. It checks for group think approval.
Half a mind seems ok.....that phrase seems to indicate that someone is having conflicting thoughts...since no one can localize thoughts completely in the brain one cannot be specific as to which half is which..
Anyway here’s a good example of super phraseology..moving forward the fact of the matter is that at the end of the day we need boots on the ground, but whatever,it is what is is. As a stakeholder will you buy into that? No problems
LBGTQBFTZ whatever.
racist. No longer has meaning. worn out for political purposes and for shaming.
Reach out

fatshaming. You really are fat. It’s unhealthy and ugly. And you spend too much on food. I am not trying to embarrass you. I am trying to help you save your life.
By saying they could care less, they are stating that they are capable of caring less than they already do.
By saying *I could NOT care less* it means there is no chance of any possibility of me caring less about something than I already do.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a threadwinner!
This is a tremendously annoying pet peeve and is all too common.
