Have all previous popes in church history been selected by unanimous vote?

Perhaps too much Mormon history has crept into this thread.

The Quorum of Twelve ALWAYS votes unanimously!

Church policy decisions are made unanimously, with consultation among the First Presidency, the Quorum of the Twelve, and where appropriate, the Seventy, each of which has its own responsibility.

But their "pope" cannot err when seeing/hearing things in the forest and thus starting another "one true church:
