In America today, there are roughly 300,000 churches claiming to represent Jesus Christ, thats an average of 6,000 churches per state. Thats a lot of churches. So why are so many professing Christians ignorant about the main theme of the Bible? Because there is not one in a thousand that preaches Bible doctrine, and not one in ten thousand that believes the book of Revelation is a road map of the future.

Blessings, editor-surveyor.
And also with you.
Friend, you are further into the outfield than any unbeliever I ever met. Go back to your idol worship and leave me alone. I don’t have time for fools.
Following Yeshua was the part he couldnt bring himself to do.
Yeah, that may be part of it. However, in the under current of this is, YESHUA was offering the Kingdom of GOD to the jews if they would recognize that he is HaMashiach. If this man would forsake everything he owned & followed YESHUA,......just like the apostles left everything (homes, business, family)......the man would have entered the Kingdom of GOD. But the man was only interested in what he could do to enter GOD's Kingdom......in other words, legalism!
YESHUA has completely fulfilled the law and thru faith in his blood, we are released from legalism.
MARK 10: 24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Notice, "And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?" .....the disciples having grown up with the Torah could not conceive of salvation without the law! However, they could not see that in YESHUA's life and eventual death, the law was completed in every point. No other human, since the law was given could perfectly fulfill the law.
"for with God all things are possible".......here YESHUA, knowing he would be the unblemished LAMB OF GOD, was revealing GOD the Father had a plan.... and we now know, unmerited Grace from GOD thru the blood of YESHUA is how we can claim salvation.
So I reiterate the point. Jesus commanded us to love others as He loved us. A constant, overarching focus on the secret rapture indeed distracts believers from that imperative.
The point I took issue with is, Fantasywriter's comment: "I reiterate the point. Jesus commanded us to love others as He loved us. A constant, overarching focus on the secret rapture indeed distracts believers from that imperative. "
Not that we aren't, to love others as He loved us.....but that this overrides everything else Biblically......while the rapture is over rated!
I personally believe every word of the Bible has purpose......and while the word "rapture" is not found in the KJV, it is in the Latin. The rapture has a purpose in GOD's plan just as, " to love others as He loved us."
2 Timothy 4: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
I am not ashamed, I love his appearing!!!!!
Thanks for pointing out that some things that JESUS said were directed at specific persons; for a specific need.
WAY too many folks tend to believe that EVERYTHING He said was meant to be taken by EVERYONE as instructions.
Bless the Hoosier who can clarify with clarity......X-Hoosier!
Where?
That Jesus fella was quite the rascal then.
It's no WONDER he got himself crucified!
Why thank you!

>> “. But the man was only interested in what he could do to enter GOD’s Kingdom......in other words, legalism!” <<
Legalism was never mentioned in any place in the word of Yehova.
The concept of legalism is another one of the inherited lies that Jeremjiah spoke of. Belief in that is what Yeshua and his apostles called Iniquity (lawlessness).
It is spiritually fatal.
.
.
We got “himself” crucified.

>> “However, they could not see that in YESHUA’s life and eventual death, the law was completed in every point.” <<
Potentially fatal ignorance!
Torah is eternal.
One half of Yehova’s appointed times have been fulfilled.
The other three will be fulfilled in the next 7 years, beginning with Yom Teruah on Tishri 1, in 2024, at the end of the tribulation of the saints.
But that will only fulfill the mortal pageant for the bride. The rest of creation goes on for another 1000 years, in which Torah will be the only governance in existence.
At the end the books will be opened, and men will be judged by their deeds.
These things are given to us in plain language in Yehova’s word; why do you not know them?

You're bad at math too......ie: One half + The other three = four halves = two (2)
Yer too stupid to be trusted with a keyboard......hand it over!!!!
No it wasn't...God made the offer but Israel rejected the covenant...And how do we know that??? Because Jesus did not sit in and reign from Jerusalem for a thousand years...
The theme of the Old Testament is the Kingdom...The physical Kingdom...It never showed up...
That's true...But there is a difference and apparently you don't know the difference...
The global kingdom we are waiting for will have the Lord of Lord and King of Kings as our leader...The global kingdom we are rejecting and fighting against would have George Soros or Obama as its king...
God will destroy them and their kingdom...
